I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I am on Bungie quite a bit and I am always wondering..."If I send (whoever) a PM will he answer? Is he even on?" Then it hit me. Bungie needs an "Online Now" thing for a persons profile that shows if you are online or not, like MySpace and other places.

This could really help. I don't believe there are any restrictions to them. Any thoughts?

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

There is actually already a discussion about this going on in the Possible new ideas for B.net thread. It isn't really a new idea, and there have been arguments meade for both sides. You might want to go pitch your opinion in in there.

Someone's been watching Blue's Clues... >_>

However, it's nice to see that the mods are online.. It'd still be much better to see when various other users are online. The moderators are not the only ones people want to PM at certain times.. :\

Ah, look at the lonely people...

I think it'd be a great idea--if you had the option to turn it off.

Why? So the mods could still remain as silent and anonymous as ninjas should. Instead of saying "online" or "offline", it'd say, "Disabled". No way of telling if they're on or off.

I agree with you completely. Even if Achronos never really even takes this idea, one can always mess with the coding of kd5's tool.

There is a reason I am user ID 1 and my account creation date is before this site came online.

Yeah, except that now everyone knows exactly when mods are online, and when they aren't! I've been online several times when I've known that no mods are online because of KD's program. I've been half tempted to spam like crazy just to see how much exactly I could get in before one of the mods got online, but then I get over the temptation and get back to making fun of people in the Halo 3 forums.

However, if you want, you can do exactly what KD's program does except use it for us Normies. If you are really curious whether or not someone is online, just look at their last login date/time and see if it is recent, or just watch it for 5 mintues, if it updates, then they are on B.net. That is essentially what KD's program does, it just consolidates all the mods logins into a list.

KD's program is both a blessing and a curse for the mods, because us helpful members know who to report a thread to, but it also shows exactly who is online and who isn't.

It is a good idea:

1. Option to hide yourself
2. Always hide ninjas (they like the darkness)
