Trailer Park Boys ~ One of the best Canadian made comedies ever.

I'm just not a fan of spell-check as a server-side process.
To me, it's a lot of back and forth traffic (and server cycles) with little gain.

If it is required to use, it means (to me) that most members will just spaz-click on "continue", "ignore" or "replace" and won't care what it alters.

I completely agree.

We all know that spell check doesn’t get rid of all the errors in your post, hence, that’s why proofreading it yourself is a must. I can see it now, members clicking “ignore” or “replace”, not knowing or bother checking what their post will turn out after the changes have been made.

If people want their post edited to be as correct as possible, just use FireFox or Microsoft Word, which I know most people have. Adding a spell checker to the forums won’t solve the problem entirely, therefore offering little gain.
