Tonight again at 9 PM EST if we get enough. Same vent, same deal. Doesn't matter how good or bad you are, as long as you have vent and are capable of listening.

Look at yesterday's pug, too. Static and BWhere played, and they're terrible! :D

ROFL @ HMC, threatened to ban me from your server because I was asking people to scrim. Halo is dead because of people like you that would rather sit around in a server all day and pub rather than play using your brain in an organized game. For being one of the "big three" you sure don't act like it.

Halo PC draft pug going down right now if anyone's reading this.

Excuse me? Ban? I never mentioned a ban or even anything of the sort. I told you clearly to stop spamming the scrim with your questions. I dare you to ask any player if I mentioned the word "ban" or even "kick" even once.

MAW and us were clearly engaged in our own little semi-formal scrim, you dropped in and began asking repeatedly for a scrim. We told you no, MAW told you they were busy, you kept asking to the point of spamming our game. We told you next to stop, you kept asking for a scrim, and we got annoyed because all of us wanted to play.

We had already organized our own impromptu game with MAW and TUI, it was you who came in (on our server, may I remind you) and began asking for a scrim despite our repeated responses of "no." In fact, we told you more than five times that nobody was interested. Server operators less nicer than we would've banned you on the second instance, no questions asked. Instead, we were willing to let it slide as soon as you stopped advertising for your game. If you intend to recruit players for your game, we would appreciate it if you did so on another forum or game. Being the pro player you are, you yourself should also have realized the rudeness of your actions.

Any formal complaints can be lodged in the HMC website.

EDIT: I have discussed this with several HMC and MAW members in the game...none of them recall any sort of threat to ban or even kick, just a request to stop advertising for your scrim.

Faux, I believe me15ter threatened to kick you because you would not stop asking, even though people had already denied your requests to make scrims. As a side note, not everyone happens to think like you. There are some people who would actually rather have public games, rather that scrims. It's an opportunity to find new players and have fun with people you haven't played with before.

At this very moment I think you are over reacting to the situation.

I was in the server, and you were clearly asking repeatedly for a scrim. We were already engaged in an active scrim with the MAW~ clan.

If I do recall correctly, and any number of people in the server at the time will agree with me, me15ter never threatened to ban you, just to ask you to stop nagging for a scrim.

Edit: No time for an intelligent repost...

If you ask more than once to a person to play with you... and they say no, is it that -blam!- hard to just realize it?

Unfortunately, i wasn't in the HMC server at the time this event, but I've known most of the people in HMC since they began playing halo. The 'Ban' command is a very severe punishment according to the clan. There have been numerous occasions where certain people have been banned from the server, and severe consequences for the banner, limited to, but not exclusive to suspension/exile from the clan, and loss of Rcon privileges. in short, they do not take banning lightly. if someone from HMC threatened to ban you, i can guarantee you deserve it.

this is exactly why halo is dying. people like you, faux, start out by annoying players who are only trying to have some fun, and then you complain when you finally manage to touch a nerve. whether you're TKing, spamming, or just plain being a jackass, you annoy other people so much that they just don't want to play anymore. i get it, you want people to play with you. chances are they got it the first time you asked as well. better yet, you post on a forum discouraging other people from playing on a good serve, while spreading bad rumors about one of the few remaining decent clans.

here's a helpful lesson: no means NO!

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Bad Faux, bad.

I was their at the time in question, and I never heard of any actual kicking or banning because of you, faux. Personally, I'm not that forgiving. Kudos to HMC.

We pub because, well, cause we can. We don't need some "organized reason" to play a game of Halo with each other. We just play the game.

We ALL know now, that if at any time, ANY of us, wants to 2v2 scrim, you're climbing the walls at the opportunity.

Thanks for the invite though.

Kick, ban, whatever. Removal from the server was my point, and you implied it well enough.

Having more than 4 people in a server playing is nowhere near the same thing as sc-blam!-. You had like 4 MAW guys, 3 HMC guys and 1 TUI guy all mixed up on each other's teams, don't try to say you were sc-blam!-.

I was repeatedly asking for people to scrim, because half of the guys in the server weren't responding. To those of you that did, I understood it the first time, and my questions following that were not directed as you, so I don't know why you were even responding. If you were there to pub, then do so instead of typing back to me when I'm not even talking to you. new420 said he WOULD play when I asked, so obviously not everyone in the server was against sc-blam!-. One of your HMC guys was willing to 5v5 and then two others shoot him down and say "no, we refuse to scrim." Since you guys seem to lack communication between each other, I was asking people individually. I has to ask a couple MAW guys in particular repeatedly because I kept asking and didn't get a response.

If you guys enjoy pubbing all day, by all means go ahead, but real members of the Halo community would actually contribute to keeping the game competitive, IMO. Or at least that's how the game was in it's prime, but I guess I need to stop living the glory days of the past in my mind. That was the whole reason for draft pugs, to get some fun, competitive competition going. Otherwise I'd go find a DC Assault pub and spend hours in there. Anyone that played on Friday night will tell you there's a big difference, but you guys have little to no experience in the said field. Is it so much to ask to at least keep an open mind and try once in a while? Have you guys ever actually played a 5v5 CAL Assault scrim before?
