But plan for more. My custom maps are taking about 1.5 gigs of space, even after I deleted the ones I never play.

Lol... Last time I cleaned out CE I found several backups of my original map folder (I noobishly created these and updated them regularly >_<) which was 3.5 gigs in itself... As you can imagine, the climb in hard drive space was phenomenal (Considering I only had a 40 gig HD at the time).

I have 13 gigs of CE maps. Only takes 30 seconds to load too :).

Such a shame that there are like 15 coldsnap servers, yet 0 of the better maps (ones that are extremely fun yet never played and come to mind are abyss, autumn slay, and siege)

Never saw what's so good about Coldsnap. When it was first release I would play for maybe 5 - 10 minutes and then quit and now I just avoid it at all cost. I've been playing the new CMT multiplayer maps. All the models and animations and HUD's really well done. Only thing is it takes ages to kill someone with the Spiker.
