'Cause sorry if I sound dumb, but I've never heard of a .tga file before. It is not a widely common format on the web so there is no shame in not knowing. It it is a bitmap file formats for storage of 24- and 32-bit truecolor images which makes the files sizes much larger than JPG which introduces data loss in favor of compression. TGA stands for "Truevision Targa Graphic".
I can not speak to image hosting sites accepting them since I never use them however you will most likely need to accquire a graphics program that can view them to look at them locally.
Cool, thanks UXB, for the explanation. But why did they choose it to be .tga? I mean, I'm happy with .bmp or .jpg, and the only way to do that is to constantly minimize. And I have a very slow CPU, so it takes a while for my computer to get back to its desktop when I minimize, and vice versa. So I always get logged off from the server...=/
