Could anyone here mod halo 2 so you could have a giant level with the Scarab in multiplayer.
It would be like this.An objective driven game type takeing place on huge maps with at least 30 players and vechiles and it would also have Pelicans, Phantoms, and the old covenant dropships from halo 1. On one map there would be two teams, they would both have a base in which players and vechiles spawn. At the middle of the map would be a Scarab(or a human or other covenent super vechile), and both teams would fight over the scarab. If your team captured the scarab you would use it to destroy or gain entry to the enemy base. It could be manned by about 3-5 people, one person moving it and controlling the gun and the other players controlling the turrets. The other team would try to destroy the scarab using tanks, wraiths, banshees etc... and if they destroy the scarab it would respwan in the middle of the map. The other players on the scarab team not in the scarab could defend it from the other team using vechicles too, just like in the last level of halo 2 where you defended sergant johnson with a banshee or wraith tank as the arbiter. This would be awesom not just to play but to watch as a spectator with a free moving camera.

Thats why this game type would be great for professional gaming events like mlg or the world cyber games. This would just be one type map of this game type. Each map would have different team goals, vechiles, etc.... Imagine a map like this but set at sea as a massive naval batal with huge ships and submarines or in space with battle cruisers and space stations.

Also you could make an almost mmo type of game with one mega map (a planet) wich would consist of dozens of regular maps. It would be turnbased so to attack a planet a team would have to go through one space map then you could choose from a land or sea battle map on that planet until you've conquered the planet, been defeated or just decided to keep the territory(maps) on that planet you already have. There would be two sides human and covenant there and could be multiple teams per side. Also on some maps there could be flood which would attack any players they find. There would be 2 galaxies(one human and one covenant) and multiple planets per galaxy. This match type would be perfect for online compettitions and would be a little like an mmo game.

What do you think of this idea

Add me to your friends list if you haven't already. It's a lot more fun to play with people from The Maw and people I know than random noobs.

I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass, but you should really split that up into paragraphs that are organized. I don't want to sound like an English teacher but it makes it a lot easier for everyone else to read and possibly someone to try and make something like that.

As for the question: Is this possible to make in H2V?
You'll just have to wait. I'm sure there will be many talented modders working on some 1337 stuff. We don't know what is all possible. You could try and learn to mod yourself too. Although it's not easy, I haven't even bothered to try to learn lol. I'll just play the mods that other people make.

Yeah, #1: This isn't the place to be asking about Halo mods.

#2: Halo 2 Vista isn't even out yet, so it's pretty hard for the modding community to do any work with the game...

Third, don't expect anyone to do mods for you. Ever. Unless you are the president/have a big load of money or some other incentive.

Even with Halo 2, you still have to re-model the Scarab to get it working. The Scarab in Halo 2 Campaign wasn't driveable, so you'd probably have to model your own scarab and get it working, or maybe if there's some way to sync the Scarab (or whatever term there is), then you could get away with making a new model.
