In all the forums, there has been so many topic locks... man its really annoying

Bungie should get a better forum, one that has a delte topic option, cuz i keep hearing stuff about the beta, theres so many un-needed topics that they should just be wipped off the forum

We have a delete button, but we often lock threads unless they are spam or the title contains profanity.

Spartans don't die, they simply go to hell and regroup.

I like that description, very accurate. Good job Recon, on enlightening another commoner on the more delightful aspects of bygone eras.

Indeed. I'm kind of hungry now.

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

They should allow me to track any member's posts...I'd just track Recon's and see what incredably interesting yet stupid things he's going to say next.

Though...yeah...um...okay, I guess he's right.

I'm kinda wondering now though, why isn't this thread locked? It serves no further purpose.

Oh, we can delete threads. We choose not to.

It's kind of like Vlad the Impaler. Whenever he was finished with a purge or a massacre, he took the bodies of his victims and stuck them on large pointed stakes and left them there for everyone to see the result of opposing him.

Locked threads are like that. Only they don't swell up in the sun and smell bad.

Keep up the good impaling . . . . work.

Oh, I guess I should point out, that if you delete a thread from existence, you tend to get a big buildup of:
Whar did mah thread go!?!! topics.. :P

It's better to lock, so they can see that their thread was not a good thread, (or whatever the reason). You get far less "Why was my thread locked!?" than the aforementioned threads.. ^^^^

One of the most shocking comparisons I've seen. What goes on in your head is a mystery.

Are you sure? We have never really fully tested this theory out. I personally believe they willhave the opposite effect and shrik down, kinda like a shruken head. A shruken thread.

/me sets all the locked threads he can see out inot a greenhouse.

Let the experiment begin!
