Or maybe the Hebrews used the term fruit in the derogative sense.

Perhaps Adam and Eve ate a gay. :O

You could always just create a group to spam in.

I believe that's why there is HFCS, they're just too ashamed to let us know about their addictive tendencies.

After learning that The Flood isn't a spam board, just an "irrelevance board" I think we should have a SPAM BOARD. So people can just post SPAM. That would lead to LESS SPAM on the other forums. Other sites have it, for example:

http://forums.xgenstudios.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34

And wow... I can't believe I just posted a -blam!- load of spam in The Flood, thinking it was a type of "Spammer Land"

If you want a Spammer Land, then start a group that allows spam in the forum.

A forum about spamming would only serve to incite spam whereas the general consensus seems to be reducing it. If we don't want spam in the first place, we aren't going to take measures to make sure we get more of it.

After perusing some of those threads and the content within (or lack thereof) I say no.

Creating a forum for spam is like giving into terrorists- MI6 doesn't do it, and neither should we.

Much like public places prohibit someone from running around naked while self-flagellating with licorice whips.

I smell previous conviction for lewd behaviour....

Use notepad (or simpletext) instead.

I prefer a bungie forum of some sort

But Bungie.Net's membership agreement prohibits spamming.

Much like public places prohibit someone from running around naked while self-flagellating with licorice whips.

If you want to do either, I would recommend someplace where you are not effecting others with your activities.

Your metaphor doesn't hold up though recon since we do have nude beaches all along the coast where it is perfectly acceptable to get naked and...if you do so desire flagellate yourself with a licorice whip.

So what I glean from your example is...that it's OK to have a spam forum, however it would only be filled by grossly misshapen old people that would scar our fragile young minds.

Did that make any sense?

Just so you know.

Let me know when they become over ripe (stickem in the freezer for a couple days) and I can whip you up a big batch of the best banana cake you have ever tasted.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

The only benefit a spam forum could garner on this site is it would be a place where I could see who the potential spammers are. Accordingly, they would stop using it as soon as they discovered all the banned people in there, so it would be pointless on so many levels.

Aside from that, it would be actually rewarding people for breaking the rules, and that's never a good idea.

  • 02.17.2007 12:56 PM PDT

Encouraging people to spam sounds like a bad idea. And besides, I don't think people would use that forum for spamming. Take the Classifieds as an example.
