I was wondering when this "New Hawtness v2" comes out is it going to break all the internal group links? For example, I have a link to a forum post on my groups front page. Will this link have to be change or will it still function after the update...
Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.
What'd be the difference? How would the url change at all?
Good question, and that will have to be answered by somone up high, but in my opinion probably not, because that will be A LOT of work...
Posted by: ALIENwolveWhat'd be the difference? How would the url change at all?Instead of being: http://bungie.net/fanclub/[groupname]/GroupHome.aspxThe directory might change to:http://bungie.net/group/[groupname]/GroupHome.aspx.That would break all the links that link to that web-page. That's why its important.
"Kids? Where are these kids now? Are they even still kids?"
Hm...who knows? If the place where groups are stored on the site doesn't change, they should still work, but if it does...well, they'll be broken.
