To No Refunds:
FYI, the complete revamp of the multi player formula isn't minor. Leading everyone on believing that the majority of missions were going to be on Earth and they really weren't isn't a minor detail. Adding in a completely new campaign side and story, shifting the spotlight from the main character, isn't minor. Destroying the need to aim a weapon and use something called "skill" in multi player isn't minor. Letting the community being dropped into the toilet after the many exploits made the game popular with modders/standbyers/seven-year-olds throwing temper tantrums isn't minor.*Spoilers* Okay, maybe Bungie ripped people off by making them think they were going to fight on Earth, and maybe I'd rather play as Master Chief rather than the Arbiter, and maybe the ending was somewhat disappointing, but I didn't think it was that bad compared to the unbalanced gameplay.

Also, for someone who instills individuality for people, I'd say you're a contradiction with your "majority rules" ultimatum at the end of your post. Titanic holds the record for the most gross income in ticket sales of any other movie; does that mean it's the best? Of course not. It means, just like Bungie did, that the people in charge of advertising did a great job at pulling the blanket over people's heads and making them think that what they were buying was the greatest thing ever.Yup. Just because many people do the same thing doesn't mean it's good. Like dying. Lots of people bought Halo 2, that doesn't mean it's a good game. Lots of people die, that doesn't mean death is a good thing.
