Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

The little toolbar at the bottom of the page sports a "games" button that leads to all sorts of Bungie games, and Halo PC is gone from the list. The content is still there if you have it bookmarked or Google it. Kind of depressing.

Oh, c'mon; like this is a surprise? We all know Bungie doesn't give a damn about the PC community. They don't even allow Gearbox to update Halo PC any more, less even try to fix the horrid net code. Have you seen a Halo 2 Vista update recently? No, of course not. They have nothing good to report on it any more; just more disappointments.

That's because Bungie Studios is filled with 40 year old virgins who love their Xboxes.

Yeah that's right, you heard me bald Frankie.

Funny too, since Halo PC is the best game Bungie has produced.

Im problably being a huge optimist, but I have a theary that bungie is giving Vista no attention so we can be protected from the screaming 6 year old noobs. As for removal from the games list, that is kinda depressing.

You're absolutely right. But in Bungie and 7 year old MLG fanboys' points of view, Halo2, and Halo3 is the best game they have produced. But I just have one thing to say:

Halo2 is teh suck, and it phails miserably.

I highly doubt that. They're giving no attention to Vista, because they're busy working on their next failure, Halo3.

Halo PC is far from the best game Bungie ever made.

The teams making Halo 2 vista and Halo 3 are completely separate. I don't understand why everyone loves bringing up stupid points without any backing.

Where has anyone even said they were the same? Did you even bother to read the posts in this thread?

The Bungie team likes consoles so you have to flame them? What has Frankie ever done to you?

  • 02.19.2007 9:07 AM PDT

Ya, and Halo 2 Vista is there, and from what I can see is, they ran out of room for the Halo 3, and the Halo 2 Vista Icons, so they kicked Halo PC out of the bar, you just have to click on more, it's still there.

Only Halo Xbox is under "more".

In the nicest way possible - I thought they were giving no attention to Vista because they weren't making it?

I've been out-of-the-loop for awhile, so correct me if that's wrong.

Halo 3 isn't going to fail, nor did halo 2, almost everything was upgraded, a few downfalls, but what do you want, a perfect game? There's only been one perfect game in history, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. Halo and Halo 2 were amazing games, Halo 2 was a little bit more run and gun, and the hitboxes might have been a little large, but even though it was annoying it in no way made the game fail. Two or three MINOR flaws can't make a game fail.

Also, BEST SELLING GAME ON THE XBOX...does that mean anything to you people?

They aren't minor, they're major.

On the XBOX. Nobody really gives a crap about it in the world of PC gaming.

To No Refunds:

FYI, the complete revamp of the multi player formula isn't minor. Leading everyone on believing that the majority of missions were going to be on Earth and they really weren't isn't a minor detail. Adding in a completely new campaign side and story, shifting the spotlight from the main character, isn't minor. Destroying the need to aim a weapon and use something called "skill" in multi player isn't minor. Letting the community being dropped into the toilet after the many exploits made the game popular with modders/standbyers/seven-year-olds throwing temper tantrums isn't minor.

Also, for someone who instills individuality for people, I'd say you're a contradiction with your "majority rules" ultimatum at the end of your post. Titanic holds the record for the most gross income in ticket sales of any other movie; does that mean it's the best? Of course not. It means, just like Bungie did, that the people in charge of advertising did a great job at pulling the blanket over people's heads and making them think that what they were buying was the greatest thing ever.

*Spoilers* Okay, maybe Bungie ripped people off by making them think they were going to fight on Earth, and maybe I'd rather play as Master Chief rather than the Arbiter, and maybe the ending was somewhat disappointing, but I didn't think it was that bad compared to the unbalanced gameplay.

Yup. Just because many people do the same thing doesn't mean it's good. Like dying. Lots of people bought Halo 2, that doesn't mean it's a good game. Lots of people die, that doesn't mean death is a good thing.

Firstly, Halo 3 hasn't actually been fully developed yet. It's in developMENT.
So don;t bother bringing this up against Halo 1, especialy when you haven't played it yet.

Secondly, Halo Xbox was removed before Halo PC was. You lot need to stop being biased in favour of H1PC.
They're simple keeping their site up to date. Their latest games are Halo 3, Halo 2 and Halo 2 Vista, so those should be the ones up in the list since Bungie don't seem to want to put more than 3 games there. Probably to make it look tidy and not cramped.

Anyway, stop saying this stuff about Bungie not careing about PC (even though they care more about Xbox than PC anyway, but not so such to an extent of what you lot are stressing).

P.S. Don't start flaming me saying stuff like "Go back to New Mombasa", because I don't have an xbox or a 360, and I own Halo 1 PC and play it regularly. I'm simply stating the honest and unbiased facts, suggestions and opinons.
