OK since none of us have ever seen a ghost flip a hog, ghosts are out, it would be too tempting to use the plasma cannons anyway. I'll leave it at 16 players to see how that goes if it sucks we can set it back to 12. The modded map sounds like a good plan, but I have ZERO experience with that stuff; so one of you is going to have to build the map and then give me detailed instructions on how to load it on the server. That will have to wait for the next time we do it.
Otherwise here is how its going to go down.
The server should be up right now so you guys can mess around in there. At 8pm I will reboot the server which will kick everyone off and allow me to get in. When we have max players or even teams, moderators will be selected for the first match. I will then warn everybody the game is starting by typing, "GENTLEMEN, START YOUR ENGINES!" I will then reset the map three times(lo3). Moderators are to head to the tanks everyone else gets in a hog. Those that don't get a hog can jump in as a passenger or gunner or can brave walking around trying to find a vacated hog. Passengers or gunners may NOT fire weapons just enjoy the ride. Hogs are to stay in the middle area of the map and stay out of the spawn areas around the base. Since there is a tree in front of each base that is a good reference to use. Hog need to stay in front of the trees and not venture past those into the area around the bases. Imagine two lines drawn through each tree that are perpendicular to each other. Better yet think about a hockey rink and the two blue lines don't drive pat those lines into the goal area. (Well at least the Canadians will know what to do)
Moderators: the moderators are there to enforce the "house" rules. They are to fire on anyone doing the following actions:
1). Firing a weapon of any kind, be it vehicular or personal.
2). Throw a nade of any kind
3). Driving a hog past the tree into the area around the bases
I will probably be one of the moderators for the first match and will pick someone I think is responsible enough for the job. (that may be difficult)
At the end of the match we will pcik new moderators, even out the teams, and restart again.
Hopefully this will be fun. See ya there.
