maybe there should be a thing where if there is a topic that you don't like, that obeys the rules, you already posted in, and you don't want to see it anymore, you check it off and say kide. then it goes into a folder with other kidden items. I think this would help people on the forum when they've already read a topic a billion and a half times. thoughts?

Why the hell are you looking at this? Get out.

And no group invites, you jerk. I'm not interested.

Is your H key where the K button is?

What'd be the real point of hiding threads? You see a topic. Woohoo.

Sure, you've read the rules enough... but I don't see how this would even out in a cost-benefit situation. You have to give everyone their own topic ignore list, when the only topics that you'll see repeatedly are the stickies. Everything else eventually sinks off the first page. I just don't see the need.

I think this guy is trying to say that Bungie should implement a system that allows a user to not see topics that deal with a certain subject.

Example: A user doesn't want to look at anything that deals with Halo 3. So the user selects an option that blocks anything that deals with Halo 3.

It's an idea, that's for sure, but I don't see the logic in it. One, Bungie would be wasting their time if they worked on something like this. Two, you can always choose what to and not to look at. Three, if you don't want to look for a certain kind of subject, don't look in a forum that the subject could be talked about (don't go to Halo 3 forum and not expect to see something being said about Halo 3).

I believe that's the 'Stay Outta the Halo 3 Forums' feature.
I like that feature.
