I was wondering how Bungie.net looked like 10 years ago. If anybody has some pictures or description, I would appreciate it.

Is Bungie.net even 10 years old, yet?

At any rate, Bungie.com was around before Bungie.net. Check out the Old and Busted.

Edit: Bungie.com existed before that. However, the Internet Wayback machine only goes back to '96.

This is from the wayback machine.

Well, that's the oldest Bungie.net at any rate.

I believe Reiginko has the oldest photos of bungie's historic websites. I like the old look better. The forum from the last Bungie was awesome, having to click on each link to see what a person said, that was the life. Although, that was when there was only around a hundred active members back then.

You could set it up to show a preview or even full text.

If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

Truly a land before time.... But given the "barbaric" nature of the internet at that time, with UseNet and what not...*shudder*

But if you pay attention to those 10 year old pages, You also see a differnt side of Bungie that doesn't rear it's head as much. It's a kinder, softer, funnier Bungie that was willing to take 10 bucks off your shirt if you put it on infront of them.

Those pages also show how much ass Myth TFL kicked back in the day.

Thinking about those makes me tear up like that Cherokee standing on the side of the highway.

You know what the old bungie site would be saying if it could see this.

Lawl. That's a good business solution: trap a soul inside the server. Nice find.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

I haven't been around here at Bungie.net long enough to even know what it was like. I bet it was pretty slow starting but look at it now!

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

Just remember thats back when nobody had high speed internet and good browser and I'm pretty sure CSS and java and all that was not used alot. So everypage looked like that. look at yahoo.

I haven't thought about what Bungie looked like back in the old days. Maybe they had Marathon themes and that groups did not exist!

Ok, I just spent four hours in the way back machine and I'm finally back. Wow, what a sight to behold. Read an interview with Noguchi and felt his rage like a blast from the past. Yeah, I'm back now.
