Why is it that people cannot simply face the fact that someone else is better than them? People on Halo PC always have this fixation that if someone else is beating them, said person is modding, or has cheats, et cetera. It's the most annoying thing in the world.
I would like to direct your attention to this rant at EVula's Lair about online Poker. It's the same thing, only replace Poker with Halo PC, and vise versa. It's very accurate.
Just today I was playing a 2v2 on Blood Gulch, using my famous weapon combo, Pistol+Shotgun. I'm in first place, getting headshots and killing spress right and left. And everyone on the enemy team is going "ya its prety obvius!". So I ask "What is?", and they answer "that u hav cheats", which I didn't. I reply with "I do not.", and they answer "ya u do, dont deny it!".
I really cannot stand these people. They're self-righteous, and they suck. Someone is better than them, so obviously, they must have cheats. And they're so stubborn. They will never give up that belief. You could show them proof that you have no mods or cheats, and they still wouldn't believe it.
They're also the type of people who then get in a Scorpion or Banshee, and kill you with one shot over and over again and go "ha i kild u, u reely suk!!!", or "I PWND UR -blam!- FACE!", when they're using a one-hit-kill machine.
I only accuse people of cheating when it's blatantly obvious that they are. When someone is flying through the air with a rocket launcher, getting one-hit-kills by the second, they're cheating. When someone isn't even moving, and you get a message that they killed you, they're cheating. But if someone is better than me, I can acknowledge that.
People: It's okay to admit someone else is better than you, god forbid! Just because someone kills you often DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE CHEATING. Get that through your heads! Discuss.
