Stompy,
You forget that most teachers do it for the love of teaching. Maybe you need to see things from their point of view.
You act like a punk-ass kid, they'll treat you like one. That's the way the rest of the world works. Teachers have to worry about a whole class, not just you. Their job is to instill knowledge, not to be your disciplinarian(sp?). They probably get pissy if somebody acts up because they only have 45 minutes (7 period schedule) or 130 minutes (block schedule) to get as many people in the class as possible to learn that day's new material, not to mention just keep their attention.
Horseplay and throwing things aren't conducive to this. Rules are established for a reason. It behooves you to follow them.
I used to have an attitude like you, then I grew up. Thankfully, it was before I was out of high school that I learned to appreciate teachers. You should try asking a question in class about something relevant to the material that interests you and see what the teacher does. Or think up a random question about something that is related to the subject matter and try to get them engaged.
Make your classroom experience fit what you're interested in. If all you do is screw around in class, TRUST ME, you will regret it. You can make school fun for yourself and still do well AND not ruin your image by looking like a dork, if you're worried about that kind of thing.
Another thing, don't kid around about shooting teachers, or anyone for that matter. Just because someone irritates you because they're doing their job doesn't warrant their death. Its stupid, rude, and disrespectful of people who have had their lives touched by gun violence to kid like that.
