How about both of you grow up and actually read what has been said before posting in here?
KILLINU, you have not contributed anything to this thread, please either leave or post something useful.
Kim, you have also not contributed anything positive to this thread, a 2.8GHz processor is quite this century, you expect everyone to have a 3.2GHz Quad Core or something?
He has a 2.8GHz P4 with 1GB of RAM, that is perfectly acceptable and more than enough to play Halo and every game out right now, his only problem is his graphics, due to the fact he is using cruddy integrated Intel graphics.
To the origional poster:
You can either use the software reccomended earlier to determine what kind of slots you have, or you can manually check your motherboard, but just make sure opening your case won't void your warranty.
if you have an AGP slot, it will always be above the other expansion slots (PCI slots). Normal PCI slots are white, the AGP slot should be of a different colour, slighly shorter, and not lined up with the other cards, like this:
----- <- AGP
------ <-PCI
