Ok, to start things off, I am 1/3 (or 1/4?) way into finishing my new 1337 montage (remember my "working on it" thread, this one's going to be much different than my previous ones).
I started watching many "finale" montages (since my new one's going to be sort of a finale), such as Ninj4's, Bamboo's, and even Nessy's, to learn from what they did, so my latest montage can be squeaky clean with good editing and good kills. But something hit me, I had no idea what they were talking about, when they said it was a "Final" montage.
What does this mean? Does this mean they'll never play HaloPC again? (Bamboo clearly types "R.I.P. HaloPC" in his dramatic ending) But Ninj4 says he might make a match montage soon. What does it mean to make a "Final montage"? Does this mean you'll either never play HaloPC again, and/or make any montages again?
After I see my current work, and "estimate" my next scenes, mine gets sort of classified into a final, it has my best kills, it has more than 10 minutes of footage, and I'm working on it much more, and is dedicated to this project/montage than all my other montages combined. Ok, this montage is going to be a 2006-2007 Finale, as in, I'm going to stop making montages for a year (I have made enough, so I'll rest); I mean, I could get tempted to make another 1337 montage another year from now. But I certainly am not going to quit playing HaloPC. It will forever be my favorite game.
So, does anyone here know the best possible answer for my "finale" question? Should I just let my montage stay at "7th montage", or "Final montage of the year"? Thanks for any answers.
