First let me introduce myself, im new to the forums even though im a loyal bungieite. I go by Maximus and im from Orlando Fl.

Ok so on to my story, I just have to tell someone about my first wager on a halo game. Me and my buddies are pretty damn good at system link halo we play regularly against our other friends but never for any type of tournament or anything. Well, last night would have been poker night, but I get a call from this girl i know. Shes like "My brother wants to play you guys in halo. He has a team of 4 and wants to bet 20 bucks a person on the game." So I rally the troops and get together the 4 best players from the pool of about 12-15 guys we play with. They came over and wanted to play best 2 out of three, we all threw in 20 bucks.

Game 1: BG, CTF, no radar, hogs only, 5 caps
-my team dominated this game 5 to 0. I had 4 caps and 80+ kills in just under an hour

Game 2: SW, CTF, no radar, hogs only 5 caps
-this was a bad idea, they beat us 4-5 we all hate sidewinder with less than 8 v 8

Game 3 Back to BG same as before except 3 caps (because it was 2 in the mo'nin)
-The deciding game. They got the first cap which we awnsered quickly. Then they hopped up another. They were using sneaky skillz and getting into the back of our base. Once we had their number down though we were dominating at their base and took 2 captures in a row to win the pot. I had 2 caps and 115 kills.

So after 6 hours and alot of sweat and swearing we reigned victorious, and man it felt good. The coolest part about it was seeing how we stack up against a team of total strangers. If anyone else in O-town wants to play sometime hit me up. Although it won't be for money cuz that was stressful!! But in the end all that time spent on halo paid off (see below)

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

right on..

Awesome story. And the cool part is that it was close, and no one just dominated the first two games, so there was a cool ending.
