This belongs in New Mombasa...unless you're talking about what you want to see improved in the PC version of the game?

im afraid im gonna have to confiscate your testicles.

What are you, the Cyber police? lol.

New is good! Besides, who wants to see health, you know easily after losing your shield after a sniper shot or 3 shots from a pistol or 1 shot from a BR/shotgun you know you will die. If your complaining about Halo 2 coming to the PC, dont buy it, stay with regular halo.

For im buying it no matter what, its a new game, (new things) makes sense huh?

I think he's talking bout Vista...and the Sword lunge is here to stay so no point in moaning over it.
And you don't have health in Halo 2, it's just a shield. Hence why there aren't any healthpacks - you don;t need one.

Actually, I think there is health, just that it's hidden.

Just like the health in Halo 1 can be changed to %, because the bars aren't a real indication. Full bars doesn't mean full health.

Ok.

Halo PC is active. I will still be active. I can resist shiny graphics.
Health in Halo 2 does not regenerate.
Fuel rod != plasma cannon.
Sword has no reason to go away, and it won't.

As for leaderboard, I have a feeling very few people would care anyway.

Actually the health in halo 2 DOES regenerate. So, once your shields start to come back online, your health does too.

Halo 2 + better graphics + better community - the assloads of auto-aim = A Halo 2 that I may actually enjoy playing skill-wise.

Halo 2 isn't that bad, mulitplayer, now that's bad, even the big boys who administer the game won't even play it.

If your whole team can't corrdinate enough to take out the enemies sword wielder, then sucks to be you.

But that's not a problem with the sword, thats your own problem.

I'm pretty sure that a Scorpian or the rocket launcer is in the same category as the Sword, so alls good.

True. Think about it, if he has a sword, and you have a gun, and he still manages to get close enough to kill you with it. Then you must really really suck.

Your right, if it takes that, your team sucks.

At most it should only take two guys to kill an experienced sword wielder.

But may I ask, how do you kill a tank?

Speaking from splitscreen experience: The sword is so easy to dodge its almost laughable. You see, the Master Chief apparently runs at the same speed fowards as well as backwards, so if you see a guy with a sword, simply back away and pwn his ass. I understand what your saying about the lunge and small maps, but the lunge seems to have a larger range in campaign than in multiplayer, that may be wrong but its my opinion. Also, the sword will not kill you in one hit. Only if the person is jumping and then lunges will he kill you in one slice. And with small maps, thats why Bungie is putting a limit on the sword for Halo 3. Its kinda like the flamethrower: All the noobs who just got the game will go "Oooh, shiny" and will pick it up. But the experienced players realize what just happened, and if you pick up a sword you might as well paint a big bulls-eye on your face, because everybody will immediantly shoot you. The biggest threat from halo is either the noob combo or the sniper rifle. Having recently aqquired Halo 2, I realize that sniping isnt totally based on auto-aim, it is just much easier to move your crosshairs at the same pace that somebody will run at with a controller rather than a mouse.

Actually, you do walk slower backwards, the main reason I know that is because I used to mod custom games and personal experience. When looking at the game files, it has a faster walking speed forward than backward. And I've been killed so many times walking backwards because I was slower than the sword weilder

What you just said is laughable. I'm sorry, but that's a load of bullcrap. The Sword can be dodged, but not as easily as you say. You are wrong, flat out wrong, when you say that you run at the same speed backwards as you do forward. You don't. People pedal in reverse slower than they do running forward.

By the way, if a person lunges at you from five feet away when both of you are standing still, it is an instant kill. He doesn't even have to be running. You don't need to jump to get a one-hit kill.

Where did you hear that Bungie is putting a limit on the sword in Halo 3? Also, I disagree with what you said, most players are smart enough to hide the sword and switch to their other weapon as soon as they get it right up to the point until they use it.

Oh my GOD. When will you learn? These HPC lovers hate EVERYTHING about Halo 2. I'll be suprised if you survive. [/not an insult to HPC lovers, I am one too. You guys are just too hard on H2.] And Kim, how would you know what the players do? You hate H2 with a passion, so I don't believe you have played up to the level of Xbox live.
