You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."

And here I was hoping for a television series T.T

Comics are cool, don't really read them (HGN was all right), but they're cool.

... I'm not that excited about the comic book, I'd rather here more time going into making the movie happen and happen right, wouldn't you?

Looks like I'll be getting into Comics again...

I need to check to see if someone has started a vote on the subject.

I'm hoping for Short stories that give a glimpse of different parts of the

Halo Universe. That way your not tied to a few Characters and the

ones you see can die if needs be due to the way war is.

No "New Halo game" will ever be the same without Bungie.

Is this the 3rd Halo project Bungie and Peter Jackson had prepared for us? If so, yeah it was out of the blue but it didnt change me. Besides, these comics, arent they equal to the books? But with pictures, lol just more for the fans I guess.

i hope not. while this seems cool, it would be a big disappointment if this was #3.

lol so true

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Peter Jackson project will be something non-MC related. Maybe a prequel to Halo (like KOTOR was to Star Wars), or a break-away story arc focusing on a group of marines, etc etc.

All good options though, the important thing is we are meeting new people! - Zoidberg :D

Honestly, I don't think there will be a 3rd thing. Anyways Either way Marvel is cool. Its not bad but could be something better

Does this mean Marvel Toys can make 6in scale, super-articulated figures (Marvel Legends style) based on the comic?!?! Either way, Bendis + anything = gold!

I totally agree, Marvel still has a top-notch game storyline to carry through. I can't wait to see what is looks like and how it reads. Even if they go off the storyline it will be great. I loved the first comic so much that I got two of them, one to read, and another to put on the wall in a bullet proof case. lol nice talking later.

Rae_SkaKid you are right on everything. Please give me a child.

I can just see the title now. The AMAZING Master Chief. Or something like The INCREDIBLE HALO dude! lol

Whatever, these are going to be fun. I'm not a big fan of comics but this is the perfect excuse for me to become one.

I think I'm the only already existing comic fan in here. Though Bendis and Maleev are good I have doubts if they're the right team for this project. Bendis is known as the dialog guy writer. His action scenes are usually not that good in my opinion. He's also not a fan of the "less is more" dialog we've come to know from Master Chief. Similarly Alex Maleev is a great artist but his action looks stiff. Probably because his art is digitally based of photo references he uses. So lots of friends posing in action shots. It might be old school but nobody does armor better then Iron Man artist Bob Layton. Clean design.

Just fanboy wishing but for a witer I would've loved Brian K. Vaughn, Robert Kirman, or Tony Bedard. Dream artists that would be ideal but you could never get are Jim Lee, Alex Ross, or Art Adams.

A lime a day keeps teh scurvy at bay.

I'd like to see side characters flehed out more, and side-engagements that were alluded to, but never really described, become reality through this.

Also, as AriesDog has mentioned, if the chief makes an appearance, i hope he keeps his laconic style. i know many have thought it a cliche approach to the tuff guy superhero, but historically, the real spartans of greece greatly discouraged speaking or even writing more than was necessary. the very region sparta was founded in, Laconia or w/e, is the root word for laconic. so not only is it a characterisation of the master chief, it's an allusion to the ancient spartan culture too. whether intentional or not, i've no clue, but thought i'd throw it in there. :\

Our good friends at Marvel made a couple of nifty announcements regarding the upcoming (and as-yet, untitled) Halo comic series, and although they haven't set a date yet, they did reveal that the artist and writer paired for the project are Alex Maleev and Brian Bendis, respectively.

OMG thank you! I can't wait...
