I own a top of the line PC (for those that know computer-ese :amd 64bit 3200,1gig of matched registered RAM, geforceFX 5950ultra, audigyZS platinum pro). Now i dont own a xbox, the box filled with years of console's collecting in my closet reminds me of why i dont own one (mostly they get outdated in about 4-5 years) . They PC i built 4 years ago (amd 850athlon, 512mb ram, geforcefx 5600) still runs halo smoothly on the lower resolution settings. My new PC makes halo look absolutly FABULOUS (i have a 30 inch LCD HDTV for a monitor). A friend of mine brought over his xbox and copy of halo, we hooked it up to my HDTV and played coop till we beat the game. I have to say that in one way halo for xbox is a better game (co-op play in single player games), but still i beleive that the higher resolution and the customizable game controls, and the 16 person multiplayer games make Halo PC over the top for me as the better choice of gaming platforms. if u have a limited budget (or your parents are buying u everything still) and cant afford a killer PC rig like me. then halo for Xbox is the better choice. In conclusion I believe that Halo2 should have simutaneous releases. that way everyone is happy. Microsoft also sells a little program called Windows (which costs as much as a new xbox), and anyone that wants to use halo (that owns a PC not a Mac) is going to have to buy or own this program, in that thinking i believe that mircosoft owes the PC gamer as much as the Xbox gamer as far as customer appreciation factors exist. therfore they should make co-op play for halo1 and the PC version of Halo2 available soon after if not at the same time the Xbox version is released.
