Subject: What exactly does "I Would Have Been Your Daddy" mean??

I have walked among men and angels for three thousand years. Time has no end... no beginning... no purpose.
I wander the earth, seeking forgiveness for my horrible crimes against God and man.
I live to see death, destruction, over the light, but the light cannot be extinguished.
I live in a prison of my own demise.
I am lost in time. -Gravemind-

Like the title says. Seriously, what was that supposed to mean?

It's just a line Sgt. Johnson says. "I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence." or something like that.

WRONG!
lol

It's a chapter in Halo (AOTCR)

"I would have been your daddy.....(Rolling Thunder), If I had a super weapon"

It means that if the Chief gets Halo he will be stronger then the Covenant, Of course that doesn't last too long *Cough* Halo kills humans too *Cough*

I'm sorry, but what kind of question is that?

Well, see it goes like this. He met his lady mate, and they wanted a kid. So they went to the motel on the side of the highway and began to take off their clothes. Then the MC...wait, wrong discussion.

Dunno. Maybe he owned someone as previously stated?

You are certainly welcome.

DAMN YOU ANTI-SPAM FILTER! Doesn't make sense. My friend and I spammed the site a few days ago by typing "all your base are belong to us"over and over in New Mombasa. So much for the anti-spam filter eh...?

Doc: "i'm a pacifist"
Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

if i had to guess i would say someone was fixin to be your father and due to some circumstance it didn't work out, so someone "filled the void" so to speak. hence i "would" have been your daddy.

"I would have been your daddy, but the dog beat me over the fence." or something like that.

That's it. It's just another common "mother" insult.

It's just an old saying (not originally from Halo) meaning that some Dog screwed your mother before I could or I would have been your daddy.
