I agree that the Spartan Armor is FAR too heavy to float. But then I remember that it closes it's vents in valcume and water envoroments, thus causing a large air pocket. Then the floating makes sence. But then I relaise that the Bullet holes will just ep it sink as well. And then I remember that the suit has a bio foam techincal thing to it that quickly closes small holes. This once again makes the Floating possible. So yes, Floating makes it realistic as long as it doesn't happen in shallow (Beaver Creek) streams. The Speed of the water should also play a large part in this.
With that in mind, the floating animation SHOULD BE different for EACH different Character model. Examples:
Elites- have less heavy armor, thus they float longer
Jackels- Have armore as well, but no more then a human marine has. They float pretty far.
Grunts- They float the longest. They are small, shubby (see arms and legs) and have Large Gas(fluid?) tanks on their backs. This alone counters the water and makes them the lightest of all. But they should always end up face down under the water because the tanks are what makes them.
Brutes- are the heaviest because of their size and armor. But they do have a LOT of fat, so they float, but the armor weighs them down. They should animate a lot like a Spartan does
Hunters- are complicated. They sink like a huge stone because they have no air pokets at all. But over a very short time, the worms should seperate and start floating (like thick blood down the stream. Thus leaving behind empty armor. Apart from the heavy shield, the water current deals with the now hollow armor.
Flood- These guys are basically liguid inside, so they float like a Grunt. However, they are very soft and fall apart with ease. So when they fall down a water fall or float a long distance, their bodies fall apart a turn to goory ooze like that of the Hunters.
All bodies should have blood stream down with the water.

Spectra: Covie Hog
Warthogs: Rocket Hog, and the Shredder (the one with the Machine Gun)
Waith: Waith and Covie Tank
Scorpion: Tank, and Scorp.
Brute Shot: The Brute
Teleporters: Teleport
Plasma Pistol: Noob
Human Pistol: Pistol
Plasma Rifle: Plasma Rifle (The ONLY weapon refured to with it's full name. lol)

SMG: SMG because it's short enough

Practiced for Halo3 We refurred to the SMG as the Spiker (Brute SMG) and the Plasmar Grenade as Spikes (Spike Grenade)

Game Types
Tag: Juggernaut with No weapons and only meleeing with fist to kill. ::In Halo2, turn off weapons and grenades. Only weapon are pistols and start with the Plasma Pistol. Make it an Odd Ball game and use the glitch to drop all the weapon and skull. The juggernaut is announced by the players the "TAG" the new Juggernaut. Great for small maps.
Vehical Tag: Simple Juggernaut game with ALL vehicals turned on except Tanks and no Shields. The Juggernaut is the ONLY one with a Ghost. And the Juggernaut is the ONLY one that can be killed OUTSIDE a vehical. If you kill a Juggernaut from a vehical, then you MUST jump out and run or use a Ghost. Oh! Invisability is Turned Off along with Radar.
Zombies....Well everyone knows about this one.
Battle Royal Created to honor the 1st original film. It's a Slayer game with all vehicals turned off and ALL players Invisable. At least 16 players and large maps a must. Turrents turned on and shields turned off. All weapons are allowed, even Snipes. Absolutly NO SUPER JUMPS!! 30 minutes Time Limit and 3 rounds. Great fun on Terminal but best on the other large maps. Small maps ruin this game setup. Becomes too easy to spot the enemy and kill them. You don't have to be a fan of the movie to play this game, but watching it IS incuraged.
Nascar This is a home made race game since Racing was removed from Halo2. :( Everyone agrees on 3 maps and together they set them up with obsticals. Barrials, vehicals, etc (anthing that can be moved) help form the tracks. this takes time to set up though. When done, two plasers each take a Warthog and set up for the race (players take turns challenging the winner til all have had a turn). The NON-racing players take up possitions along the track to ensure no one cheats (goes off course), while another stands at the finish line. 3 laps deternine the winner. Obsticals that have been bumpped out of place are move back before each race.
Sounds like a lot of work, and it is. But it's lots of fun and something funny/cool always happens durring a race. Not playable on Blood cultch very well because of lack of movab;e objects. Instead, you must use players and un-used vehicals as land marks. It takes less time to set up, but it gets confusing. But EACH un-used vehical needs a player near by to hop in them once in a while. Otherwise they'll blow-up and reset. Ment for Large maps, this can be played on small maps as well. But instead of vehicals, players simply run. Same rules as with Vehicals though.
