When I play multiplayer all players are white or the same color. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've fiddled with a lot of the settings and even reinstalled the game with no luck. Any thoughts?

I should clarify... This is in CTF... Playing the same servers on my other computer I see blue team and red team. I have two legitimate copies and two legitimate registration numbers, just installed and updated multiplayer. Thanks.

This is because your graphics card is old or rather crappy, and Halo decides to downgrade its video settings so that it can run properly on your computer. If you have integrated graphics manufactured by Intel, there is an older driver that allows you to see the colors.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

That's simply because the makers of HPC are racist. :-p

j/k

Look in K-121's signature for the link, if it doesn't work, then you may need a new graphics card.

Chances are you have an integrated chipset, which might be the cause of this. Download the Intel graphics media accelerated driver here.

Hmm, this sounds similar to a problem one of my friends is having, only it happens when he plays Campaign mode. He keeps claiming that Master Chief is white in PC version, but hes perfectly green in his Xbox version. I have to slap him into reality because I'm tired of him trying to confirm that MS is indeed white, but this thread could help answer his problem. I didn't even think to ask him about his graphics card.

Ok, well tried installing that, it did nothing. I can accept that my graphics card isn't up to snuff, no problem there... what I'm confused about is, I can see the red lights, the flag is red, the wall neons(?) are red, the trees are green... everything seems to be the right color *but* the players. So other than the green triangle above players heads and the red circle when I target them, I can't tell who's who. I don't guess I understand why of all things they would cut the colors out of the players when that is obviously an important factor in game play. But if that's what it is, that's what it is, I'll look into getting another graphics card. Thanks anyway guys!

Well, for now thats your targeting system. Anything with a green arrow above them is a teammate, and if your targeting reticle turns red when you point at someone, thats an enemy.

But what if the target is far away and againsed a green background?
