July 15, 2008... The day the timer stood still.

Yes, against the rules.

I like the fake moderator blacklist sigs, because they are funny. I am sure it breaks some kind of rule.

I guess it's not against the rules because the Ninja didn't say anything funny. Or be all up in his grill liek "BANT yo!"

It doesn't seem to make that much of a problem, most people can tell the difference between a real statement someone (who is well known) makes and a fake one. Besides, I like the fake ones, they seem to be more humorous.

If they are forged, it's usually blatantly and indisputably obvious that it's fake.

Unless they were belittling someone personally or bypassing the filter, I can't see what's wrong with saying:

spewns r teh ween!

Would he actually post this? Maybe, but it would certainly be sarcastic.
I'm not ruining his reputation or hurting his feelings.
(Pssh like he has those anyway, I saw him step on a cat that didn't have the stamina to run away from him because he hadn't fed it for a week.)

To my knowledge (which is quite similar to an infinite void of perfection), that is perfectly fine.

You give your fellow man far too much credit. Many people aren't as smart as you're taking them for.

Agreed. The average person has no way of knowing if this is actually true:

Well, I guess it's been posted now, but you get the picture.

Suffice to say that sometime, a moderator is going to end this account permenantly.

People would be like "Frankie told me the release date! proof:

Yep, its true. Halo 3 will be released on November 15th. Now let the forum overloads begin.
"
So I think it should be against the rules (except me, cause I'm cool like that).

edit: typo

I have no opinion on the matter. Foman123, what do you think?

Well, I guess it's okay. Go ahead and forge quotes, everybody.

'Quote Forging', when it's funny, is fine. I love it when I disagreed with some guy and he always quoted me (and my friend) as SS -blam!-1 and SS Blow.

I was laughing, despite his malicious intent. In my opinion, if it's done in a hateful manner, or trying to get someone in trouble, then it's essentially treated the same as being a liar.. That is, you don't get looked very highly upon.

But things like the
Moderator Notice: Zag is the most amazing user on these forums. Until he stops being amazing, all of his posts and threads will be shown. Bow down, Human.
(if cleverly done, as mine are not), can be quite funny. As long as people don't impersonate the moderators..
