Forget VRAM, a geforce 7900gs with 256megs of ram is FAAAR better than a geforce 6200 with 512 megs of ram.
Are you mentally ill? The more VRAM the better. 512 MB is actually better than 256 MB, unless you were being sarcastic. My card actually has 345 MB.
No, the more RAM on a video card does NOT mean it's going to be better. It has more to do with the architecture that it is coded on, and not the Ram. Also, I'm 99% sure that there has never been a video card with 345mb of ram.
