If you don't got it, you want it. If you got it, you want more of it. Of course if you don't know what it is, it's hard to get any in the first place.

Chocobo, it is a definite possibility that I will be going, along with a few others. (You know, 'the crew')

.. If we do, I'll let you know. That could be some fun. Or really creepy.

Or both. Like, some strange, creepy fun.

That's great news. I'm going to start a group up on this, see if we can't get something rolling.

Old school Bungie, born and raised,
In the Septagon is where I spend most of my days.
Relaxin', maxin', posting all cool,
Talking about Halo, life and some school.
Got in one little argument, and the mods got scared,
they said "You're gonna get banned and your member title'll be bare!"

It's a shame that I live in Ohio.

Oh, and the fact that my parents get infinitely paranoid in situations like this!

If we go we totally have to take pictures in front of Bungie Studios as a momentum *squeals*

Strange evolution how people have come to believe
That we are it's greatest achievement
We're barely, we're just a collection of cells
Overrating themselves

Momento.

I do like the squeeling however.

The problem is it's all the way in Seattle.............

Oh come on, it's PAX. Your not getting any younger. Do you really want to say that your going to miss PAX the summer before Halo 3 is released, at the largest gaming expo in NA, which is in the same state, and driving distance, of Bungie Studios?

I really wanna go now.

But ........I live on the opposite side of the country. If it's by air, that's going to be a LOT of money, and I try to drive there, it's gonna be a LOT of time/effort :-(

But if I can find some way to get to Seattle, I'd love to take part in this.....

And the Red states are mad because the people in the Blue states are making them pay for roads and schools instead of cool stuff like NASCAR and shotguns. -Grif

Right, momento (what was I thinking?).

Hey Iceman I live on the other side of the country too. My air fare would be about 300 dollars. The hotel prices are what kills ya'.

$300.00 is a bit, but reasonable. That's a round trip fare, right? LoL I hope so.....

But the $200.00 a night for a Hotel? Harsh...........

That's why you try to share a room with a couple other people. For me it's coming to about $40 a night, if that.

I'd really like to Thank you for your help in posting links like this. Frankly, as a native, I'm unfamiliar with the "pilgrimage" aspect of PAX. Airfare, Hotel Rooms, I'm not the guy to ask. Ask Relativiox.

Personally, I've found that off the basic discussions I had with PAx attendees, you could get a real guerrilla trip together, hitching a ride off other attendees, or even go as far to fly the whole way there in comfort ( in first class) while checking out a $300 dollar room.

It's all up to how much effort, and how much money, you want to expend. I've found great airfare deals, so it seems like hotels will be the only issue.

My thoughts exactly. I've actually tried to find their Building based solely off their directions of being near Chinese food joints, italian, Movie Theaters, and within direct walking distance of a Starbucks. it was fun trying.

But we need to make a pilgrimage. Your absolutely right.

Perhaps some selfless Seventh Column member from seattle could host you, Iceman?

I mean, if I had my own place and lived in Seattle, I'd let people sleep there!

Everything will be gone long before me. When the first living thing was born, I was here, waiting. When the last living thing dies, my job is finished. I'll put the chairs on the tables, turn out the lights and lock the universe behind me when I leave.

Ok guys, i vote we start a money pool, where all the people in Washington give money to the rest of us who live elsewhere so that we can all afford to fly over there. Or we could set it up like a charity: walk down the street with a bucket, yelling "Alms, alms for the people who cannot afford to fly themselves to Seattle for PAX '07!" Or it could be like "adopt a potential PAX '07 attendee", where everyone who wants just decides to "adopt" someone else and pay for half their plane ticket to get to the event. Ideas? Thoughts? Adoption offers?

Deal.

Now folks, let's calm down for a minute. Here's some good financial tips for you all.

1. If your sure your going, register before March 31st to get a pre-reg discount.

2. If we can get 10 people or more, we get a group discount.

Now, Zag can tell you, I'm not the greatest planner in the world. We really can't afford to over-extend ourselves on this. I really want to make this happen, but I'm not a magic maker. We need to be steady on this, and work together to find deals and whatnot. For all members flying in, finding cheap airfare and good hotel deals is a must.

You can also consider riding the Train into Seattle if your in the surrounding couple of states. PA also has a massive road convoy where all you have to do is pay for your share of gas, and a fellow attendee will drive you and others to PAX.

Now, I know there are a ton of options for all of this. Frankly, I can't make all of them work for you. Either we need to get a tad more organized, find someone who is good at this kind of thing, or we need to take a step back and try to figure out our own situations. I can't make things happen for you, I can only help.

I want this to happen guys, but I can't do it all by myself. If your several states away, I'll try and help you the best I can with finding cheap travel and hotels. But I can't do this by myself.
