I have see the screenshots and have heard from others playing the game that it is the best Halo so far.
However being one of I'm sure many Halo gamers out there that don't have an Xbox, I would really appreciate knowing if there will be a PC version of Halo 2.

Any thoughts on this, anyone?

Nobody knows, But heres how I see it.

1) Halo comes out on xbox, recieves massvie criticial acclaim.
2)Microsoft release halo 1 on PC and people play and love it.
3)They make halo 2 an xbox exclusive, meaning PC owners decide to buy an xbox purely for halo 2.

Which would suck, for I cannot afford an Xbox, nor have I a passion to buy one. Know that the PC version will sell, Bungie!!!

you could easily buy a new xbox and a copy of halo 2 for the price of a new video card.

Considering a top of the line video card costs about 400$, and im not even sure what a xbox costs anymore, prolly close to 150$

And you dont even have to get it new, you could save half the money getting a used xbox and a used halo 2 (yea right, like anyone would trade it in)

They already have a demo of it.

If you go on www.microsoft.com/games you'll find it on the site somewhere. I downloaded it, it's good but make sure you change the controls, I had a hard time using the default ones. it works ok now though ^_~

You might have confused something... you can only download Halo 1 for the PC, not halo 2.

Xbox costs £80-£100 and halo 2 from £30-£40. Not sure what that is in dollars. Maybe about $190 in total? It does seem a lot if your only getting it for halo 2 though.

i agree. Halo 2 should also be for PC as was Halo 1. It's only fair to us PC users. Somethings just go together. Microsoft will make even more money and make a lot of people happy. Some of us dont network our Xbox's anyways.
