-Dual wielding. Seriosuly, this is such an under appreciated feature. PC fanboys really don't know how much it adds to the game. Sometime I think they prefer their bug fests...

-Pretty Combat. Seriously. All the colors of energy beams flying around, grenades, blood, etc. It's magnificent.

-Map editor. I've got a whole bunch of interesting ideas like "The White House."

1. Dual wielding sucks, always has, it is not balanced.

2. who cares? gameplay>>>>>pretty colors

Well seeing as it isn't out we can't tell, but we can base off Halo 2. Your right, duel wielding is under appreciated, even though I prefer grenades I hate it when people insult a feature that there really isn't anything wrong with besides the fact that it makes some weapons (pistol) weaker without the feature, but they're still usable.

But the map editor would take the cake, nothing is better than an endless stream of creative user content.

I don't know how to say this but dual wielding is a useless feature when you start getting the least bit serious, after that point it's pretty much BR/carbine and sniper.

Well ya, but when your up against multiple guys, (which is rare online) spraying can help. But I can't even tell you how many times duel wielding has saved my ass in the campaign. It's slightly useful online, but like I said in my original post, I like sticking to single weapons. Except SMG/Pistol or PP/Pistol, cause those combos own!

Dual-wielding is overpowered. People just run around spraying with their PR/SMG combos and have no incentive to get a weapon that takes any skill to use.

There is a reason good people play with the battle rifle as a starting weapon...

Here's the little thing about skill. A kill is a kill, with a battle rifle, duel weapons, rocket launcher, or a freggin hydrogen bomb. It doesn't matter statistically how skillful your kill was, it's still a kill. If someone kills you online you could say "You killed me with a banshee so your a noob" that doesn't change anything, he still killed you. Learn to accept that even though skill does earn you a reputation, you can't penalize someone for using something that lacks skill, if it's there, use it.

Have fun trying to dual SMG me from across the map while I put a sniper bullet through your head.

I think this image captures halo 2 perfectly. here

you ever notice that the MLG guys go for the sword and rockets?

its because it wins the game, winning the game>skill taken to make one kill

Still in a "SMG/PR Combo vs. Battle Rifle or Carbine" Battle, who do you think will win?

My moneys on BR or Carbine, Unless SMG/PR Combo susprizes the BR/Carbine User!

It's called map control since those weapons never respawn until dropped. Either way, point out when they go running around with dual needlers.

Your all doing this without any knowledge of the situation at hand. Of course a SMG and Pistol won't kill you across the map if you have a sniper rifle. It all depends on the situation. In close range a a SMG and Pistol would however own you in a close range battle. Battle rifle doesn't take the "skill" you say it does. Lock on is a cripple. There's nothing WRONG with using a duel wield able weapon, or a sword, or a lock on rocket. OF coarse there are situations where the sniper rifle or carbine would own a duel wielding player, but there are also situations where the guy with the sniper rifle or carbine player would get raped with the duel wielded weapons or a sword or a rocket or whatever.

Ok, I'm not complaining because people dual-wield, I dual-wield, too. I'm complaining because dual-wielding shouldn't have been made that powerful in the first place. And yes, I've played more than my share of MLG games. It was all I would play before I cancelled my Live account.

Everyone loves clowns who listen to Britney Spears in your backyard while dancing mockingly and intently staring though your windows at you.

Say what you will about duel-wielding but if it takes skill to use weapons like BR then you should be able to own a duel-wielder so don't complain.

Whoever insults dual wielding has probably NEVER seen real wars before. It is done ALL THE TIME with lighter weapons. And who gives a -blam!- if it isn't balanced? It's not the end of the world when it kills you in 3 seconds. In reality you would die in 1 second.

This was supposed to be a topic about your favorite features of Halo 2 Vista. I am not going to get in the middle of your argument, because its kinda pointless. But, I think that dual-weilding is a bit overpowered, but not something to whine about constantly.

No Refunds , you're so true , the point isn't what weapon/vehicle you are killed with . The point is that you are killed .Go find some other game if you don't like the unskilling of the game and don't whine.

Also , to the topic , I like many features of H2V , some of them are that there are more realistic physics than H1 and graphics and all ,while it's still a Halo gameplay .

Well if you actually read the info, it says that they took those shots from a DX9 PC. The DX10 version will be a lot better.

Get Marathon Here
Get Marathon 2 and Infinity Here

My favourite part of H2V will be the Mouse.

And as far as dual wielding, if you go into a battle with somone who has a better weapon for that battle, then unless your skilled, you will die.

Long range is owned by the Sniper rifles.

Infantry vs vehicle is owned by the rocket launcher.

Medium range is not really owned by anything.

Short range is ruled by various dual combos and the shotgun.

Simple. If you know your going into close quarters, your a fool if you don't bring a short range weapon/combo.

The only reason the Fuel Rod Gun is called the "noob cannon" is because people are too lazy to actually think about how to win. Obviously the guy with the FRG has major close and mid range advantage, but that doesn't mean you can't kill them if your skilled, and the conditions are right, no different really than any other weapon you can face.

Use your heads if you want to play using weapon specific skill, otherwise shut up and play using game skill, and game skill means getting the weapon(s) that you can own everyone else with, regardless of weapon specific skill involved to use them.
