Are the new Halo 2 multiplayer maps going to be in high-def (since I believe they are only playable with a 360)?
Maps cannot be 'high def'. They can be rendered in a higher, 720p resolution on the 360 because of its superior graphics card capabilites, but the actual look and feel will be very similar to existing Halo 2 maps becuase of the limitations of the game engine that Halo 2 uses. Maps built for the Halo 2 engine, but running in emulation on 360 will never, ever look as good as maps made for the Halo 3 engine, and running on the Xbox 360 natively. Textures may be slightly higher resolution because of the 360's larger memory pool, but don't count on it.
I was confused about whether the wind in the grass was for H3 or the new H2 maps. They're for Halo 3. Halo 2's engine doesn't support that.
What the hell does UI stand for? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_interface Like the menu system when you start the game, or your HUD (more commonly refered to as GUI) or even just the input method (ie, the controller).
Honestly. *rollseyes*

Will these new Halo 2 maps be coming to HALO 2 VISTA?
I think this is a really good question actually. I knew there were going to be some new maps with Halo 2 Vista, and that there are some new maps for Halo 2 360 coming soon. but are these actually the same maps? Or are they two different sets? And if they are two different sets, will Halo 2 vista players have access to these new Xbox maps, and vice versa?
Anyway, people are such whiners these days. When Bungie have something to announce (like beta release date), they will. Theres no point announcing a date when it hasn't been finalised and then disapointing people more.
I actually thought it was quite a good update this week, dispite the lack of imagery.
Bungie doesn't have to do a update every week. Very few games companies make regular updates at all, let alone (almost) every week. And bungie doesn't just do the updates either, they have humpdays every once in a while, community interviews, occasional links to interesting happenings in the community, fan art posts. Not to mention the great (albiet spammed) forums and group features. We get a hell of a lot more than most game communities do from their developers.
So for that, i'm grateful. Seems like I'm in a minorty here though.
