Ahem (clears throat)...Well, the old "I told you so just doesn't cut" cliche fits this situation perfectly. But, in this case, I told you so works fine for me. So I told you so, you nasty flaming disbelievers :) I'm right and YOU'RE ALL WRONG! Not to rub it in your faces but...
Omg. Just because you were right doesn't mean what you believed in was smart.
Being right is still luck, even when you are being smart.
I'm not here to tell you what to do, but relying on third party sites still doesn't make the date come faster once you know it.
And making a list of the people that flamed only makes it pitiful. take it liek a man. A bunch of the buddies I have on these goddamned forums have flamed my ass off in the past. Hell, I can't even remember any of them except Kim (scarred for life).
I agree with most of your post. You don't have to be lucky to be right. 1+1=2, no luck was involved with that and yet I got it right. Or did I...
you've had that memorized since 1st grade. try something bigger like 34^2 in your head, then you'll be reeling.
in a test situation, at that point u have the choice to use the teacher's methods, just throw an answer out there or cheat off your partner's paper who might be right, but just as well might not.
now bungie jumping cheated off his buddy's paper (figuratively, no offense). his buddy got it right. he also could've guessed randomly (hmmm, i think halloween is a fun day, that's when H2V is gonna come out!!!), or used a longer harder process the teacher taught him to find squares on paper.
god -blam!-ing damn im -blam!-ing good at analogies.
You say:
Omg. Just because you were right doesn't mean what you believed in was smart.
I say:
Not always. You can work out arithmetic problems in your mind and get a correct result. You cannot deny the world by saying, "OMG L1K3 1+1= 3.9 !!!!!!!3L3V3N!!11!1!!5H1FT=11!!!1!!10N3HUNDR3D3L3V3N!" You would be shunned by your family and be forced to touch yourself and stray cats at night in places (no insult intended, I'm sure you don't touch yourself and cats.) Arithmetic is a definite math (I'm sure on that) and won't change unless the world's numerical system somehow is changed by some evil dictator. BTW, I worked out 34^2 and i got 1156. I didn't like that problem at all. This goes to prove that whenever you are right it isn't always luck. Its either simple reasoning, facts, or regurgitating information fed to you by the evil school system.
