I have asked and asked....and bungie delievered. Finally a date on when you joined b.net. I would like to see all the vets in this post as well as newbs. I'm curious as how people joined, since their really arent even advertisments for bungie.net. I personally had just beat Halo on legendary and was bored. Being the fanatic that I am, I read the instructions and in the very last page in extremly small print was "the 7th column" at www.bungie.net I had played previous bungie games and loved bungie, but was ignorant of their website. Well I went to www.bungie.com, which led me here. It has transformed my life. Literally, I am now staff of Halonational and have been to more lans....then well most people. I have met new people and have been to new places(Indianapolis, Chicago, just to name a few) and it really has changed my life as well as halo. Thank you bungie.....Thank you.

Almost 2 years ago now...

I joined the old old Bungie.net in 1998. Then the new old b.net came along and I joined in Nov. 2001. And now there's the new new b.net!

*bows* wow I attracted the vets already! heh but seriously...I wish I could have discovered b.net much sooner like when PoD was out or something. I remember those days...

EDIT: Also if you want to include your old b.net name before the No-Passport thingy mine was =KIA_Grunt heh.

When did YOU join.

I still remember the day. I never thought I'd get involved, at first. Just thought it would be good to post once or twice and then leave… how that changed.

And that's another reason why you'll never see my name next to Scorsese, Woody Allen, and Spike Lee. Scorsese speaks a lot at NYU, and I'm damn skippy no one's ever been like, "I'll suck your dick for five bucks!" -Keven Smith, Filmmaker

MSXL: The Last Honest Chapter

Believe it or not, I actually joined B.net a few days after Halo was released. I believe the log-in was "thesmileguy". I wasn't really that active, and didn't even touch the 7th column. After a few months, I went off to college, so I had my account deleted. Then, towards the end of summer 2002, I realized what a moron I was, and signed back up as my current name. The rest is history! =)

Odd... I felt the same way when I first joined. It's been almost a year now, although from some strange reason it feels like I've been here for 2... I never thought I'd fit in as well as I did. It does prove that it's easy to make friends who share similar hobbies with you.

Oh well. Actually, I came to Bnet after (I think) seeing the URL for Bnet on the Halo manual, or something like that.

Yes, I do read game manuals. I usually find some advantage in reading it, and reading a manual also amuses me while I'm going home from the store.

Sometimes, I hear these horror stories about someone who just figured out that the Tank had a secondary fire. And you know what I say?

You should have read the manual.

So Maraxus, I salute you.
