This is the Bungie Weekly Update. As Bungie is not directly developing Halo 2 for Windows Vista, we're not going to be the ones announcing much info about it... at least not in our Weekly Update. That's not to say we'll never talk about it, but rather that most of Bungie's collective attention is focused on Halo 3 (and to a lesser extent, Halo 2 maps).
I suggest you look around, I believe there have been rumblings from Hired Gun (the MGS team doing much of the work for Halo 2 Vista) about various features of the game.

All I want is some solid H2V info, maybe some new screens, info on the mapmaker, or even a release date. Come through for us Frankie.
There you go, an official post regarding official news about H2V.
I'm sure many of you read this over in the latest weekly update thread, but I know some of you have not, so, to those of you who are complaining, stop whining at Bungie and start using Google.
--EDIT--
had to reply to a post of note

There hasn't been that much info on Bungie lately, there's more about Halo 3. You could easily go back and rename many of them the "Halo 3 Weekly Update" without straying the slightest bit from truth, and nobody could tell the difference.
You aren't directly developing it, but you (Bungie) did develop the the content in which Hired Gun is editing, and you do have your name on it, and you did put it under your "Our Games" section. You've claimed it as your own. You looked into the proverbial box on the side of the street, and seeing the small, helpless, forsaken Halo 2 Vista lying in the bottom, shivering in the cold, you carefully pulled it out and took it home.
But now you've forgotten the poor little idea to make room for something else. Something new. You've essentially pawned it off on your uncle's enstranged cousin Earl. You don't care, you don't even talk about it anymore. Poor little Halo 2 Vista. You can link Ensemble Studios and the Halo RTS on your front page, but you won't even mention Halo 2 Vista. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Yes we know that your preoccupied with Halo 3. We know how much work it takes, but it takes merely seconds to have KP link to an article on the news page.
Hired Gun has written some on the features, but allot is the same as the Xbox version. Couldn't you just say how the developing is going? Please?
What do you want them to tell you? That Joe finished re-coding 3 of the 5 modules he was working on today but ran into compatability problems in module 4 due to a misake Tom made in one of his modules?
Come on, there is no news, it's "Same as usual", Halo Wars is getting a monthly update, with less to do with the game than the personal lives of the developers!
For crying out loud, just because there is no update doesn't mean the game is dead or Bungie isn't paying attention to it, and if you would check out Hired Gun's blogs etc. then you would have your answers, don't be so lazy, sure it would be nice if Frankie or KP took time out of their day to call up Hired Gun and say "Sup dudes? Anything you want to tell me that I can put in an update?" but then, that's kinda stealing Hired Gun's thunder, isn't it? Their a new development team, maybe they are looking to grow as a unit, get a feel for how this hole community interaction thing works.
Not likely I know, but give them the benefit of the doubt, geeze...
