Do u think that bungie is going to or should make Halo 2 PC, i think it would be cool cause they would probably add more levels to Halo 2, like they did in Halo PC compared to Halo, and maybe a couple of new guns

They won't, because they released halo on PC so people that play it will buy an Xbox for Halo 2.
But, that's just my theory.

I think this time around it will just be for xbox though I could be wrong if Halo 2 does go to PC it would be a long wait.

The only thing will be system spec's for it. If the graphis for single player are anythng like E3 2003. It may be a year or so before anything is powerful enought to run it effectively. Much less to redo the game for pc. I could be a while.

Agreed, remember in the long run Bunige employees get paid by uncle bill, uncle bill wants to sell more xbox's, halo 2 PC is in the distant future. Halo put Xbox on the map because Microsoft saw it would, HALO 2 is gonna put Xbox on top of PS2 and -blam!- Slap any thoughts of buying a PS3.

I hope that maybe 2 years after its released they put it on PC, that'd be pretty cool, by then PS3 would be out, maybe XBOX 2, and they could have the graphics enhanced with the kick ass PC hardware that'll be out then, and they could do some badass multiplayer stuff.
We'll probably all be talking about Halo 3 then anyway, so it woudln't really matter.

I own a top of the line PC (for those that know computer-ese :amd 64bit 3200,1gig of matched registered RAM, geforceFX 5950ultra, audigyZS platinum pro). Now i dont own a xbox, the box filled with years of console's collecting in my closet reminds me of why i dont own one (mostly they get outdated in about 4-5 years) . They PC i built 4 years ago (amd 850athlon, 512mb ram, geforcefx 5600) still runs halo smoothly on the lower resolution settings. My new PC makes halo look absolutly FABULOUS (i have a 30 inch LCD HDTV for a monitor). A friend of mine brought over his xbox and copy of halo, we hooked it up to my HDTV and played coop till we beat the game. I have to say that in one way halo for xbox is a better game (co-op play in single player games), but still i beleive that the higher resolution and the customizable game controls, and the 16 person multiplayer games make Halo PC over the top for me as the better choice of gaming platforms. if u have a limited budget (or your parents are buying u everything still) and cant afford a killer PC rig like me. then halo for Xbox is the better choice. In conclusion I believe that Halo2 should have simutaneous releases. that way everyone is happy. Microsoft also sells a little program called Windows (which costs as much as a new xbox), and anyone that wants to use halo (that owns a PC not a Mac) is going to have to buy or own this program, in that thinking i believe that mircosoft owes the PC gamer as much as the Xbox gamer as far as customer appreciation factors exist. therfore they should make co-op play for halo1 and the PC version of Halo2 available soon after if not at the same time the Xbox version is released.

If there's going to be a Halo3 it will be the pilot for the XBOX2. And then there gose PS3 for like another year. lol. Or PS4. Which ever comes first.

**drooling**
I wish I could afford a PC rig as good as yours Moriarity. I'm running on a laptop right now, a P4 2.66Ghz (crappy 533Mhz FSB), 1GB DDR, ATi Mobility Radeon 9000 128MB, which is alright, but next time around I want to buy a real powerhouse desktop, but that'll have to wait until after I'm out of college and get some real work.

Back on topic though, I doubt they will make Halo 2 for PC. It takes a lot of work for them to rework the entire game just for PC. Instead of only having to run on the Xbox's Nvidia GPU, it then has to be compatible with many GPU's, including those very different from Nvidia. Getting the effects to work right takes a lot of time and effort, and even then isn't guaranteed to work (i.e. Active Camo). The game would be incredibly taxing on PC hardware. While the Xbox's hardware(except maybe the GPU) is technically inferior to that of a PC, it is more efficient. It was designed for one purpose, to play games, while your PC has to multi-task. It has to run the OS as well as other background tasks and services at the same time that it plays the game.

I just think that it would be Infeasible to spend so much time, money, and effort on a game that would be very limited in terms of the machines that it runs on.
