Products and customer service.
My Uncle bought a laptop there, and BB disabled the free Sony warrenty registration program, so he would have to buy a BB warrenty if he wanted one.
My Mom's cousin bought a computer there that she discovered was used. So she took it back in to tell them, and instead of helping her, they just wiped the HDD and told her it was a new PC. This was after she had put a bunch of photos of her grandkids on it. They were lost because of the crooks at BB.
Not to mention the numerous lawsuits there have been against BB; even some by the AGs of US States.
Those are pretty much isolated incidents. The costumer service may suck, but you cannot gerenalize the whole Best Buy Corporate entity by saying the customer service in that store was bad. In terms of Products, how can Best Buy be responsible for what people buy? I say that with the exclusion of your examples above. Also how can Best Buy disable a free company waranty? . Don't get me wrong, they are just, like every other company, greedy and out to make money. Adam Smith (ftw!). Maybe Best Buy does suck, but I still like it.
Cheers.
