I suggest you contain yourself lest you be banned for violating the play nice rule. At least the people complaining about Halo 2 for Windows Vista info do it in a non-rule violating way.
For the record... it is our website, we'll put what we want on it. And Halo 2 for Windows Vista doesn't appear much on bungie.net because it is being almost completely handled by MGS. We (and that includes the web team) are focused on Halo 3. We simply do not have the resources to deal with Halo 3, the new web site design, etc., AND also keep track of external happenings of Halo 2 Vista. We could for Halo PC because of how it landed in Halo 2's development. But Halo 2 Vista does not afford us that luxury. You'll also notice we don't hook you into the latest Halo Wars news, either.
Deal with it.
For some reason, I don't believe this, I'm not saying you're lying, but it just doesn't seem logical to me.
You say you don't have the resources to update on Halo 2 Vista, and that's understandable, I understand that it's not being developed in your offices, and you can't play with it hands on. But an email to "Hired Gun" doesn't take that long to send. Something along the lines of "Hey, could you please write a bit about the new features and some screenshots, our potential buyers are curious about H2V". Now that takes, what? 30 seconds? And if you don't have that much time, how about giving Hired Gun access to the website? After all, I see in many updates something along the lines of "At the end of the day, this is a Microsoft IP." - You said it yourself, H2V is being worked on by Microsoft.
Now, I don't know exactly how this website works, I just assume that it's a portal of the forums, there shouldn't be any technical limitations from that happening.
And yes, we know you don't post updates about Halo Wars, maybe that's because Halo Wars has it's own website, with it's own forums?
And just note that I am not blaming you directly for this, just quoting your post. ;)
I will say this though, the new website does look very nice, being an amature web designer myself, I appreciate how much hard work goes into making a new site - It looks really good!
