Thanks to a bunch of people, Newegg, and myself,I have finally compiled my..DREAM...computer.

First up is the Motherboard:
The Motherboard I picked

Second is the CPU

Third Is the Hard Drive

Fourth Is The Video Card

Next Up Is The Memory! Thanks Art1ll3ry for helping me out to pick memory.

This DVD/CD drive should be nice

An Xtreme Sound Card

The Tower Of PC

And, Bill Gates Newest Masterpiece, Premium Edition!

Well...yeah that's pretty much it. Anything I missed? Good Specs, or worthy of crap? Are they compatible, or a matchmade in retailer hell? I think its pretty good, 1300 bucks, not including shipping. So..I guess i'll leave it to the all knowing council of the Maw. Thanks, and good luck.

Plays inspirational, but somewhat hard core, light rock music overture.
Edit: Thanks Art1ll3ry

I hate upgrading, unless it saves me cash duckets.

Ah, look at the lonely people...

I would get a copy of XP and dual-boot it with Vista, just in case something won't work properly on Vista. :)

Dual Booting would be kind of like combining glue and tape. I don't want to manage to OS. I can barely handle one.

No, your Ram is bad, it isn't compatible with your motherboard, you need 240-pin memory for your motherboard. Get some DDR2 800 ram, that is the best your mobo can handle.
Check some of these out
The ones in the $150 range are the same cost as the other memory you were looking at.

Nice, but you should have gotten the OEM 64 bit version of VIsta, you will get more out of it.

You might want to get a DVD burner, because the current one is just a reader.
Asus $28.99, quiet and has lightscribe
Oh and it can also burn DVD-RAM

That's a huge, steaming pile of BS.

By the way, why do you press return a billion times between sentences?

Like seriously?

I mean, it takes up like the entire page.

I knew you were pulling this out of your ass when you said "10000MHz processor."

Custom made my ass.

Plus, I'm going to upgrade to a power tower that will dwarf your PC. :P

By the way, just because his computer isn't as good as your make-believe one is doesn't mean it sucks.

Having a graphics card that could do that and using a Plasma Screen, lame 720p for a monitor = you are a -blam!- ing lying noob
Please leave the Maw and never come back.
Bigger isn't always better, especially with your ego, time to bust out the old IP-Track-O-Matic-Stabinator Mach 2.
I would put that computer to good use, I would destroy it and save the world from the global warming it causes.
So in conclusion, GO AWAY.

I don't want to let my Topic turn into a flame war, so my specs are what I'm sticking with. This will definitly run Halo 2 Vista, and hooking all this stuff up won't be easy, but it's all compatible so at least I can do it. So thank you Maw council, and have a good day.I'm done with this topic.

Have you decided if you will get the DVD burner or the just the player yet?
Look at my other post if you don't get it, the burner is only $15 more then the player.

I guess that means I am going to be a great school teacher, then. And at least I'm smart enough to be accepted into one, too.

Looks nice dude. I remember putting together my wish list on newegg...exciting -blam!-. But just remember, in 6 months it will be yesterday's news and outdated.

Still fun stuff though, good luck!

Most of the PC issues posted here are the result of PEBKAC.

I don't think it's overkill, I think it's quite adequate actually, and you'll get to run Halo 2 at pretty high settings with that card. Go for it.
