24 and female.

This question is actually for a friend that just bought Halo PC today.
She's having problems trying to play multiplayer, everytime she tries, it says "Halo cannot connect to the network"
Any help would be appreciated and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Tell her to update Halo to 1.07. You can find the patch here.

Yes, you better be sorry. But I'll tell you. At the top if any forum category (ex. Maw) there is a new topic button. A new member cannot make topics for 24 hrs though.

Tell her to open ports 80, 2302, and 2303. for both UDP and TCP (I think those are the ones, if not, someone please correct me) on her router, or go to her firewall config and allow Halo to access the interweb.

You have to be at least 1 day old to start a thread.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

Why port 80? That's the HTTP (web server) port. Does Halo use it?

I called 2302 "Halo Server" and 2303 "Halo Client".
