I dunno if anyone else has ever noticed this so here goes,
If you play a campaign mission damage yourself somehow, grenade yourself and get your health down to 1 or 2 bars.
now find a quiet place with no vehicles or firefights, turn up the volume a bit and listen.
If you listen you will find that there is a heartbeat in the background. Once you ae done listening to the heartbeat find a health pack and get full health again, then listen again for the heartbeat, it isn't there.
I dunno if this is old news but I only noticed today

It's old news, just about everything in Halo has been found. Though not everyone may know about it, I didn't know about it until I got Halo:PC because I had the bass turned all the way up on my speakers.

Sierra 173 - The Siegebreaker

Yeah, you can hear the Chiefs heart beat and stuff. I think it is cool as far as adding to the atmosphere of the game.

I never saw it, but on the subject of odd thingd on the silent cartographer, when you see a downed pelican by the stone wall jump up on the top and look in the wind shield, you will see a smiley face made out of machinery, it puzzeled me also to see when on Halo2, the characters dont load well on the first level.

I've been noticing that, no offense. Small details really do change the feel of a game.

Sorry for the double post...
I completley agree. It's the small things that make the huge difference for me. I'm talking things like grass moving when you walk through it and what not. I can completley understand Frankie's obsession with water.

When I played GRAW 2... that really bugged me. The game is beutiful and fun... but the first time I went and hid in some tall grass... and it stock through my body --- I was a little bummed.

I'm right 97% of the time. Who cares about the other 4%?

Yeah. Either it means that or: Warning, you're screwed.
