Practice, practice, practice. That's really the only way to get better. If you don't already know about this, lead your shots. The higher your ping is, the further you have to lead. I promise, though, if you practice, you'll get better.

I know about leading shots, but how do I get them when they move back and fourth?

Go with the flow. Try to figure out their next move, it's obvious is some situations.

Back and forth? Are you sure you don't mean strafe left and right?

im afraid im gonna have to confiscate your testicles.

What are you, the Cyber police? lol.

1. Depends on your ping.
2. When someone strafes back and forth I always shoot in the middle of their path and get them.
3. Lead your shots at their head, and if you can throw a grenade in there and obliterate them with your Assault Rifle. (If they're some-what close)

I'm not sure if you are doing this, or if it even helps for that matter, but if you hold down your right mouse button while using the M6D you get less accurate shots than if you were to click everytime you fire. Maybe I'm crazy, but for me, it seems I get better results and accuracy (and kills/headshots) when I do it that way.

Again, I may be completely wrong, but unless you are half a blood gulch map away, and your ping is over 200, leading your shots may do very little, if anything at all (especially if playing with NS) with the MD6. Now, if we're talking about the S2 AM, leading your shots is a must.

Cheers.

If you're facing an opponent who's better than you, try to catch them off guard, flank them (attack from the side when they're attacking someone in front) and so on (very easy to do on Blood Gulch: Use the teleporters). Once you've got the hang of leading, watch how the opponent is strafing.

If they strafe long (i.e. in one direction for over 2-3 seconds before strafing the other way) then try to aim to the right of them and shoot only when they're strafing right (or aim left and only shoot when they move left)

If they're strafing fast (i.e. go left-right-left-right really fast) aim in the centre and keep firing.

I saw a really good movie that should help with the aiming: Thanks punkbassist8916 for this

Other than that, practice. It's up to you now!

I usually try flanking them as well. It works about half the time. Like in DC, if someone is on the sniper ledge, just go to one of the rocket ledges and pistol them (although you may want to rocket if they have overshield).
