I feel that there should be more of a noticeable separation between buttons. The boxes worked well and it seems too plain otherwise. This also applies to the home page of each forum. The timestamps at the bottom of the page are weird. I feel like it corresponds to the post below it and not the words above it.

Ah, look at the lonely people...

Say, Achronos, is your text yellower than it was on the old hawtness? Or, is it just contrasting differently?

My 'signature' seems to be below the letter limit in my settings (I couldn't find one and it didn't have red text saying I'd done something wrong), but it does not all show up. My response to Macragge is not there. I'm in IE. Is there a lower limit now?

Because the point of the forum is the body of posts. Signatures have been getting more elaborate, plus it is difficult to seperate the post from the sig.

So, moving the signatures to be hidden yet easily viewed is an obvious choice - if you want to see a signature, then move your mouse. This particular change is one we knew probably wasn't going to be that popular, but we feel is a positive change anyway.

Signatures are removed from the bottom of posts. Why? They were fairly nice, and a standard forum has them. I never had any trouble with them. To view them now I must place my cursor over a persons name.

Hopefully this means we can finally be "OMG!!! SIGGED!!!" free.

I really like the new site - much more professional and well thought out.

I was kinda hoping for the ability to reply in the thread page, but it's all good. The stats are much improved and I can't wait to see how they work with Halo 3!

Lol, seriously, I love the new look. I just hollered when the grid in the backgorund appeared when I realised OMFG! IT'S TEH NEW HAWTNESS!!!!!111 then my brother called me a nerd. But I don't care!

Wait. I played about with it a little. Now I have more background text than before but it shows...?

Now that you've taken the time to look at my sig, I actually regret not providing you with something more worthwhile.

It also means "OMG U MUST JOIN MY GROUPS!" PMs will run rampant in the streets, cuz that will be the only effective way of advertising a group anymore.

You people have just sent my sides into orbit. A bunch of MLG try hards sucking the dick of some supposed pro half the thread hasn't even heard of. Classic.

Mind your P's ad Q's boys and girls. We have new tools at our disposal. I feel like a ninja being supplied with up to date intel before having to act. This is going to be sweet. Thanks Online Team.

  • 03.20.2007 9:43 AM PDT

On the game stats they took away our head to head stats per game. Meaning you cannot see how many times you killed each enemy or how many they killed you....

  • 03.20.2007 9:45 AM PDT

The style is very nice, a step up, the functionality I'm sure is great but the layout is annoying me already. I hate things that demand to be maximised.

The ninja tools seem to be working a lot faster now (the lock/move/delete option). I have yet to test the new banhammer/warning sytem though.

Yeah, is there a 'ban' for 5 minutes option? I'll take one for the team.. >_>
Just kidding. Leave me alone!!

Man, this is tasty, but uh, are signatures going to be gone? :( Also, I really think it seems there should be more graphics on the site, and some borders around individual posts.. Everything almost flows together (in a bad sense.)

Gotta make sure I can still do all this
* stuff. Hehe.

Well, I'm glad that Firefox can post again. Kind of a hassle to have to open up IE and post from there. Also, the character counter actually works. During my tenure here, I've never seen it work, so I'm happy about that.

The new site has a nice feel, though it is definitely different (alliteration FTW!). Most of the time it's hard to stay focused on the posts because, well, it looks so damn cool. I like the color configuration, the site layout, etc. The forums are a bit...weird. I'm getting nostalgic already. The forum system looks too much like every other forum. I appreciated the old forums mainly because it was a break from the norm.

Now about signatures. I can't say I hate it, cause it is a really cool system. But part of the experience here is browsing the forum and looking at signatures. I've come across some pretty hilarious stuff, mainly from signatures. Granted, they are still there, but it's not the same as just browsing it with a complete laziness.

I can't say for sure, but I think there is even more content than the old site. The little tabs up top are just loaded. I'm gonna have a fun time searching through those.

Now for the ninjas....I'm kind of nervous. Blacklist history? -blam!-. I guess I'll have to start caring.

Overall, I really like the feel of the site in general. Pretty easy to navigate, even if my randomly ADD mind wanders off to some obscure part of the site. I like this a whole lot.

Way to go Online Team!!

The warnings worry me. I've walked the line with way too many threads and now with the warnings, I'll have to stop being a dick. I like being a dick.

Absolutely phwoar.

These forums do honestly make me moist. They're just so, so much better than the previous theme. Would it be innapropriate for me to pleasure myself over the new bungie.net? That first screenshot just didnt do it justice! :o! and working character count in FF. ♥♥♥ Achronos + Team. I like how sigs have been sidelined, too, makes everything so much cleaner without all the sig art that was kicking about, although, salmon text. :(.

(And to the ninjas; just wait for someone to make a "zomg this sucks, i'm leaving/give me powers/bungie sucks" thread, and you can test the warnings on me, you all know how close to the line i walk in those ones ;) )
