Whenever I view a BTB game, I move the mouse over somebody's symbol, and the box that's supposed to appear saying what weapon that person got the most kills with appears far down the screen. It doesn't seem to happen with games with eight players, though.

^^This looked O.o (weird) for me. It looked like something off an old website (like when you mis-type anything in a web address and you get thrown to a crappy website. like www.gooogle.com.

Odd, how does it look for you?

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Sometimes when I try to quote someone in a PM, I get a "Request Validation Failure" error. It thinks I was trying to enter invalid or harmful data. I don't know what caused it. All I did was press the "quote" button.

I'll also send an email to bnetbugs@microsoft.com about this.

jmh9072 cleared it up for me.

Yeah... I got that too. I think it's when someone puts a ' or a " in the subject line, and when you quote them it changes (I can't even put what it changes to or it will fail). So just change the subject line and its should work.

It did work. Thanks man.

All of the arrows for going from page to page are halfway cut off! This goes for forums as well as messages. I am using FireFox 2.0 with all of the latest upgrades. I posted something about this yesterday, but I didn't notice that it was for ALL of the arrows.

Why don't you read the thread first before you post. Everyone keeps posting the same bull**** and it's getting annoying. It doesn't help Bungie if you keep posting repeated bugs that they are already aware of. If you actually look at the forum list there is another user that has made a thread about this and has a list of all of the bugs that have been reported. I suggest you and others read it before posting.

There is also a bug, in Mozilla Firefoz 2.0.0.3, that after you have auto-login turned on, it won't let you sign out or clear private data until you close all windows. I think it has something to do with my security/ private data settings, but I could be wrong.

PS: Oh... it was created by Elite 07... here's the thread.

The following has happened on 4 different computers within the same network.. All 4 computers are atleast pentium 4´s with =>512 mb RAM and IE 6.0, they could all handle and use the old Bungie without any problems.

Problem:

Cant open the site at times, IE locks itself in the site from where im typing in www.bungie.net, this despite of which site i currently have open (usually google though)

In 90 % of the cases im hitting the reply button to post IE just freezes ad remains frozen for aprox. 1 minute before it closes all IE windows and applications. On a few occassions ive been greeted by a completely blue screen with just the text "Create post Microsoft" instead of the actuall reply screen. (big problem)

The amount of total games played doesnt correlate with the list in the stats section. (minor bug)

Edit: I do know that the new site was made with IE 7 and other new browsers in mind, i havent had any problems on my own computer that is running IE 7 in vista.

Finally,just a minor annoying thing.

The upper tabs (Projects, My stats ..etc..) are responding too fast. To be able to hit home, which is just under Projects, one has to be real sneaky and always move the cursor upwards. Isnt it possible to code a 0.3 sec delay for cursor movement?

I can't work bungie.net on Internet Explorer.

Formerly known as HunTERminator

Not really a bug per say but kind of an annoyance. The new firefox usually opens new links in a new tab and the old BNet did this. This doesn't seem to be the case and while its not a huge problem it is kind of annoying to be used to that on most other sites and have it not happen here.
Thanx.

Look... I'm on bungiepedia!

I, and probably many other users, kept track easily of what we had read recently by the greyed out link to thread if it had been visited. I think it would be simply for someone to just change the code for the visited link to be different than that of the plain link color.

This site won't even open in Firefox. I thought it was supposed to be compatable with Firefox? They just released a new version, maybe its not compatible with that? Here us ab exact copy of my error message:

Bungie.net sometimes freezes up my browser IE 6.0. This almost never happened before the New Hawtness. The website will freeze, and nothing I do can unfreeze it.

this is a realy minor bug but i am a perfectionist and am suer that some one will notice it and want to fix it

when i go to a forums main page some times the words "Thread Author" at the top stack instead of going side by side and it screws up the placment of every thing else

this hapend on a mac runing safari
it only hapens when i try to hit the back buton on my web brozer not when going to the page directly

i know this is small but it bugs me

Meh, these aren't really bugs...but I find them a tad annoying.
-When I type out text, there's a bit of lag from when I hit the keys to the time that it appears on the screen.
-Holding the arrow keys to navigate through text is difficult. The "|" evaporates, and I have to guess approximately where I'm going.

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

either it's a bug or Frankie getting used to the format but the table is off a little bit in the humpday challenge. Seems to be cause by the picture and test not surrounding it (or going to the left fully) when it gets past the picture.

Also, earlier in the article, the swear filter tore a streak through Lorraine's discussion of Konoko in Oni. Last time I checked, she wasn't pitching that kinda language...
