hello, i saw a posting on bungie.net that you were the bungie.net overlord and might be able to help me.

a couple weeks ago i was playing halo2 online(xbox 360) and i was having some netork problems where the game would freeze and though i fixed it by resetting everything and buying a new game. well i went on the next night and recieved a message on halo2 that one or more of my gamertags has been perm suspended. i called xbox live to see what it was and they couldn
t really tell me, all they could say is tha i crossed the Code of conduct. i dont cheat, yell or cuss or anything so i was really amazed at it, so i closed the account that i had for 3 previous years and opened another on. i recent'y had a lan party last week and took all my parts to a nother guys house when i returned i kinda just hooked up the xbox alone nothing else to the internet.
'today, 5/5/07 i kinda had some more metork probs where it would freeze. i dont understand why. then finally afer a couple trys it worked. then tonight on 5/5/07 at 11:00 i trying going back on and i received the same message that i have been suspended. i'm pissed cause i have many freinds that i play with and this is an embarrasment. can you tell me why this is happening???????
my previous gamertag was N8 the great
my latest gamertag was DesertrangerN8

please contact me asap, thanks you very much for your time, and if you cant help me, please repsond and tell me so i dont think that you just deleted me. thanks

I have Comcast internet and when ever i go on to bungie.net about 50 seconds later the site exits itsself out and no error box pops up or anything

I live in New Jersey and i am able to post here because im using my 2nd computer that has AOL...which is slow i might add.

Fight hard, break bones >{o

i have comcast as well but it works fine for me... though im all the way in California..

the error i'd like to report is some themes for groups dont display the right sidebar properly. it was working fine from my dads house so im assuming its an error somewhere toward my end, but that only bungie can fix it.

i use yBrowser (yahoo browser) and have the screen expanded fully. im gussing its just the spacing for a few themes becuase some of them show the sidebar up toward the top, while others have it way at the bottom, after the news and whatnot. if thats how its intended to be then i thinks thats idiotic, but if not; just tryin to help.

The halo 3 beta countdown was not working when I checked this morning. The text is there, but there is no countdown timer.

This appears to be limited to Firefox. I noticed that myself, switched to Internet Explorer and it worked fine. It's counting down to 05/16/07 at 6 AM EDT / 3 AM PDT.

Small bug here perhaps. Check the news story posted today by sawnose on the front page(default.aspx). It says

Posted by sawnose and the link is http://www.bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx?uid=649. Now click and check the actual story. Again it says

Posted by sawnose but the difference is in the url: http://www.bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx?uid=sawnose.

The link to his profile from the front page news post actually leads to his profile but the link from within the news article itself leads to the following error message:
Cannot display profile because you are not logged-in, or have not selected one to display, or the specified user does not exist.

It does the same thing with the last news articles posted by Frankie and Nosferatu_Soldie as well. It seems to only generate the bad link for who is posting the story but not for a member if they only submit the story as you can see here. Nosfertu's profile link is broken but GameJunkieJim's is fine.

Weird. Dunno if this has been pointed out already. I didn't check all 18 pages or so here.

Edit: Just noticed something else. It do the same thing in groups as well. I know it's not just my computer because I got on another with the newer IE 7 and its the same.

"It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me."

Is anyone else's member area section look like this? It seems longer than usual.

Pay no attention to the symbol next to "My Groups." Someone was asking what should go there, someone mentioned the 7th column symbol, so I made it.

When Searching for a gamertag or clan there are multiple errors.
- when you switch pages the results just dissappear (if you press the search button again they come back)
- if you do a search, change the page, then do another search you start at the page you last clicked on.

"Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind." - Albert Einstien

A major glitch in posting. Whenever you cut and paste something into the post box, no matter how many characters it is, unless you type the text in the box it will say the post is too long. I have gotten this error repeatedly, and it is a major issue when I cant re-post things that I need put down several times.

Oops, forgot I can post to this thread: A couple Safari-specific issues:

1) I just loaded up a game stats screen in Safari [v2.0.4 (419.3)], and the mouse-over content seems to be layered incorrectly on the page (it disappears under normal page content), and all the text in the Game Viewer is capitalized. I checked the same page in Firefox, and neither of these issues are present.

2) Additionally, I cannot submit a post containing a forward-slash (/) character (used for closing formatting tags, or pasting URLs) from within Safari (posting from Firefox right now). If I hit "preview" or "submit" for a post containing this character, a warning pops up telling me I am over the 10,000-character limit, even though I am not.

3) The stats ticker in the top right corner displays with no spaces in Safari. "416,097 Halo 2 Games (Last 24 Hours)" displays in Firefox, whereas "416,097Halo2Games(Last24Hours)" displays in Safari. This applies for all the stat displays for the ticker.

Thanks!

I've been haveing a terrible bug lately (the date is 5/11/07 when the 1st people play the beta) inwhich I will reply to a post or topic, submit it, then see the thread but my post is not included in it. Refreshing doesn't help. In order to see my post, I have to click back 2 times. It is realy annoying.

Whats up fella's? I have been a member of bungie for some time now. I have a Halo Veteran. And my partner hit me at said that he received a passcode for the Halo 3 beta. I wanted to kick his butt. I was so disappointed. I told him we would still be cool if bungie would also email me a code for the beta. Hook me up. I need to play to. Save our friendship. We will be dominate on Halo 3. Our clan "The Commitee" will be great but first save us and send that code. Peace.
