I hope you're not being literal. I'm not going to go off on how technology, social perceptions (i.e., blacks, women, deaf, minorities, etc, gradually getting individual rights) medicine, science, etc, have all changed over the years, but a blanket statement like that is fairly oppressive.
I'm not flaming you, I'm just curious as to what boundaries you use to define 'change' when you made that comment. I don't think that you honestly 'hate' change that has bettered mankind, such as the aforementioned examples, but like I said, in it's current context, that statement is fairly far-reaching and so I only wish for some further clarification.Of course not! I apologize, it was my mistake for not being more clear with that statement. You are absolutely right.
What I should have said was, change is bad when you don't need it to begin with.
Ah, okay. Much better, thank you. That being cleared up, I have to say that the old B.net site was outdated; it was three years old. Web standards have changed quite a bit since the last overhaul, so I think the site change was sorely needed.
Also, to respond to me15ster's comment in another thread, the forums have sped up for me. I think that the new code is better streamlined and it seems like the forum pages load faster. It might just be me though.
