Hows your bg blue? and obviously, if the text box's color turned to black, the text would have to be white. Which makes more sense anyway, since thats the post format currently. Black bg, white text (for standard members at least)

My background is blue because that's how I have Windows set up in Display Properties(appearance wise)(application background color)(classic windows style). The color of the text box input is independent of the color of the text box background color. My guess is it's probably because there's a style sheet in there somewhere that says that text box text needs to be black but it also doesn't say that text box backgrounds need to be white.
Windows Live ID text input does it too (any Live ID site) and I guess that's just the price I pay for using a dark color scheme. .NET Passport/Live ID is already many years old and they still haven't fixed it yet.
