Tact is for those who aren't witty enough to be sarcastic.

No use cryin' over Spillt Milk

It's the most misleading, unimportant of the stats.

Achievements are like...

I don't think any real harm could comen of it. It seems like a neat feature I could tell my friends, and brag about
Me: ZOMFG I have 103 Hit%
Friends: Shutup . All you do is play Halo, get a social life.
Me: *Cries*

It's negligible.

You can have the best hit percentage in the game and still be the most worthless player there.
Conversely, if you have most kills in the game, and reasonable deaths, what does it really matter if you have a 35% hit percentage?

If you want to play MLG and sweat over your hit % then be my guest. For the average player, it's a fun fact to check in the pgcr, but useless beyond that.

Your condescension is laughable, but don't let that stop you.

Considering that hit % is in the post game lobby in the actual game, it would be nice to see it on the site as well.

If you want to talk about useless statistics, how about the total medals in a game. Who the hell cares about the total medals in a game? Most people will only care about individual medal totals and maybe team medal totals, but not overall totals. That's totally pointless.

sorry for the double post but i think this is at least some what important and wouldnt, or at least shouldnt, be that big of an addition to the online stats page.

I think it's cute how you want to call people out about not posting 'intelligently' only to turn around and ignore the intelligent posts; all while shamelessly bumping your crap thread.

if your going to post, post intelligently.

Indeed, Nate, thats why you bumped your thread right?

The only thing I'm kind of disappointed in is that the hit % is gone. For me, at least, it tells a part of my personal game, how I performed in that game. That's really my only complaint about the new stat pages and the new site in general. If people say it's such an unimportant stat and doesn't mean anything, what's the harm in putting it up there for those of us who actually like it? I mean, you can just disregard it if it doesn't mean anything to you. Those people shouldn't care either way if it's on the site or not.

None of us ever said you shouldn't want it there.
The OP asked for opinions, which we've given.
Ambivalence is for those who can't think for themselves, or who are too lazy to pick a side.

Shooting percentage should be included in your stats. Granted it may be misleading but why not include it for those who are interested. For those who are not, having it listed will in no way interfere with your stats anyway. Simply put, what harm would it do ?

QFT

Even though it wasn't that important, I loved comparing my percentage to others. And I wanted it for personal evaluation. I liked seeing it there and thinking of ways to maximize my efficiency.

Actually it is pretty important, but nobody wants to think about how bad theirs is. (mines probably around .02%)
