I have to say all these Halo 2 topics and these theorys got me all excited and happy, alot of people have been saying that Bungie's firm no on the pc will stand and I was almost tempted into spending my car mone(saving up for a car) on xbox, to get everything I wanted cost about 300 dallors

Xbox-150
Halo 2- 60
Xbox Live -99
Router to split my connection- 79(one I looked at )
My tv is a family tv, meaning I'd wouldn't have time for myself, so somehow I gatta get another tv.
Xbox LIVE ACOUNT- 70
dear lord..., xbox comes with one controller like all consoles I assume? so one more controller added to the fee(30?)

thats well over 300 dallors...man serously I'm not made out of money, but I am willing to wait, I think halo pc is still fun, and I still play it,

Talks of Microsoft just waiting to sell out xbox made me happy , even if I have to wait till spring 2006-7 , someone said they saw a pc beta cd, I don't beleive them but what ever as long as their will be a pc version I am happy, either that or I will wait for the xbox emulation community to put a decent one out.

They will most likely have Halo 2 for the PC or else its going to make me very disappionted. Halo PC got alot of people because they didn't want to run out and buy live and buy and Xbox they just want to play their game on there tight gaming computers. We spend just as much money for a computer able to play Halo as people spend to buy the xbox and live. Come XP alone cause $200 old $300 if your buying it directly from their shop! I think that if they made Halo 1 for computer they can definately make Halo 2 for the computer. If they can't then they shouldn't have ever made Halo for the pc in the first place.

Thats a good point thier demon, They say that they aren't working on Halo 2 pc yet, again YET, there is a good chance that Halo 2 will be out for pc.....and I hope these Xbox people don't blow it for us, because if they dont make it for pc, Im gonna get real dissapointed.

but if they are, im pretty sure it will be too big to fit in 1 disk so maybe 1 disk for download and multi, another for campaign

Or they can put it on 2 or 3 disk like how Doom 3 was fitted. As for Halo 2 PC, its very stupid to make Halo PC then not make Halo 2. Whats the point of putting Halo on the PC if they're not going to let the PC people continue the story in Halo 2? If they think people are going to buy an Xbox for it, forget it Billie Gates. I already bought like WindowsXP pro for like 150 something dollar.

I wasn't aware Anyone had said there was a firm 'No' for Halo 2 PC. If that was the case, then how come none of the PC game magazines or websites have heard anything about it? You'd think that's the kind of thing they'd want to shout about. But anyway, I agree the most likely strategy is that they're trying to get rid of the last of the xboxes, then they'll agree to a PC version. And yes, I too have heard there's a PC beta in exsistence, it wouldn't surprise me even if they are going to delay it as much as possible.

Didya know Microsoft's stocks went up like 3 $ when Halo 2 was realised? They would be stupid to not try that for comp

I got a pretty good gaming comp, I am just annoyed at one thing. I have a really good graphic driver -just got updated- but I have a widescreen monitor, I haveta choose bettween widescreen gaming or insane graphics detail...

I am used to my widescreen, normal is too small, but I like having the guns and such look shiny... See my dilemma? I choose widescreen, but I am jelouse of my bro cause he can have uber graphics... uhoh, ima starting to go in circles, better stop

Heyyo,

Well, I'm somewhat nervous looking at Bungie's previous FPS installment: Marathon. Marathon 1 was mac only, Marathon 2 was Mac/PC, Marathon Infinity was mac only again... so if Bungie diddn't bring it to PC, I'm sure they'd plain out say it like I bet they did for Marathon: Infinity.

As for your dilema? go graphics, and then just use the buttons on your monitor to make your screen size fit your widescreen monitor, it's cheating, but hey, it get's the job done eh? =D

Halo 1 came out on the PC as it was origionaly for the PC.
Untill MS took over.

Something i have found on gearbox software

Welcome to the Halo 2 forum.

Halo 2 is NOT being produced by Gearbox, and they have nothing of any kind to do with the production or making of this game. Gearbox should not be mistaken in anyway as an affiliation with Bungie and Halo2. This forum was created so that the Halo fans in this commmunity can have a place to discuss the upcoming sequel to Halo Xbox and PC

Please visit Bungie.net for Official Halo 2 news and updates.

Enjoy!

That's certainly interesting but why would Gearbox have a Halo 2 forum if they wanted nothing to do with it? Unless it means they have nothing to do with it Yet, but even that's doubtfull. Chances are Bungie already have some idea who they're going to ask to make the PC version, although I guess it's possible they could be discussing things with Gearbox and just haven't confirmed yet.

Where did you get this information from Bungie?

"alot of people have been saying that Bungie's firm no on the pc will stand"

does this information have any validility to it?

Nope: it is, and always has been, a firm 'Not Yet' from Bungie.

A few words for ya: If Halo 2 don't come out for PC, I'm kickin some asses. C'mon, bungie! Can't leave us non-consolers and us lacking Xboxes in the dust!

Heyyo,

I'm starting to get fed up with this M$ bull-blam!-... I'm getting Redhat Linux as we speak. I'm thinking of just emulating windows to play windows only games instead of have it polluting my computer by having it on all the time. ;)

Also, if they don't make Halo2 for PC? I'm starting to not care now, I have Half Life 2, great game, gonna have great mods.

I'm sure I'll still buy Halo2PC, but not with the enthusiasim I had before...
