Is there any way i can change my display name, or mybe get a new profile and still keep my gamertag linked to the site?

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

This question has been asked many times. You can't change the name of your profile, that would lead to major confusion. I too have had problems linking a gamercard and such.

Mourne not your comrades who must dwell / too strong to strive -
Within each steel-bound coffin of a cell, / Buried alive;
But rather mourne the apathetic throng / The cowed, and the meek -
Who see the world’s great anguish and its wrong / And dare not speak.

Sorry, you can't change your display name. As for changing profiles and keeping the 'tag, eh.... that's a bit tricky. Here's how I think you can do it:

Create a new passport.
Link your new passport to your gamertag. (Note: You may have to delete you current passport first to free up your gamertag for new linking)
Create a new B.net account with the new Passport.
Finished.

But I'm not entirely sure that works, unfortunately. If someone else could confirm it, that would be great.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I KNOW it can be done by someone who helps run the site, yet there is no one offering help. I'm getting a "We don't care about your petty problem" feeling. I just need my name changed, I don't see what the big deal is.

Achronos Can change your screen name, though their is a 99.999999999999999% chance he wont.

Sorry you get that feeling, but that isn't the case. There a many, many people who want a name change. So if Achronos helped one, would it be fair to not help others? As for deleting your passport, I'll go look now. I thought I remembered that being an option.

Yes, you can. Just go to account.live.com, click "Settings," then under "Common Tasks," click "Close your account."

Yep. [url=https://accountservices.passport.net/?lc=1033&id=10] is a link to sign into your account services, from there you will see a "delete account" link (or something similar). IMPORTANT: If you use this passprt for email, MSN messenger, or any other site, you will delete those too. Sorry.
