If you are connecting to a router, switch, or hub to play System Link you only need a Cat5 Straight through calbe. These are sometimes called Patch Cables. You can go to any PC shop and purchase these or have them made there.
The System Link Cable is nothing more than a Cat5 Crossover Cable. You can also have these made at PC Shops if you are only connecting to another Xbox directly. If I were you you should have a PC shop make it for you than buying an Xbox branded cable. Cost for 20ft. of Cable either straight or crossover with connectors will probably be about $5 compared to buying one from a gaming shop for $20. They can also make one in the length you desire, usually charging between 10-25 cents a foot. Whether straight thru or crossover it's usually the same price.
