Maybe its just me, but ever since the new site came about, the whole place just seems a lot "cleaner," and everybody is cooperating. I haven't seen a flame since last week.. also the QUALITY OF POSTING really has improved. Maybe its just the aesthetic change or something, but to me it really seems like the place has cleaned up. The site has got a new pair of clothes, and looks spiffed up. I can't say how long it will take for them to get dirty again though :p I don't know how long this "nice, alien feeling" of bnet will last, but its kind of nice.. yet weird.

Frank O'Connor is a 12-year veteran of the videogame magazine industry and has therefore never worked an honest day in his life.

lets hope it says that way. of course you pointing this out doesn't help.

Don't jinx it![/joke]

I've seen it too. Even the Flood is a little more mature.

2B || !2B - Why don't you look Inside the Machine?

I would have to come to the same conclusion SgtSTFU. Bungie.net feels like a different place, honestly it feels like a congregation. I would really like to hope that it stays this way. I'm just glad to see everyone helping each other.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

I've noticed some flaming. However, it is not as widespread or as frequent.

I hope we can keep this up for awhile. I have not even banned anyone since the upgrade. I've only seen one banned user too. There may be hope for this community yet. That's a great feeling. So, behave everyone, you wouldn't want to ruin my mood, would you?.

',:\ IF YA SAHMELLLL

People have been acting worse, at least from what I've seen.
I make a comment about the moved nav bar and it turns into a debate.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Flames seem to have gone down slightly, and people are starting to post in the right forum more often. This is awesome and certainly an intended effect of the new site.

But the problem of people posting without reading what has already been posted seems like it may be worse than ever. Some people seem to have reached a new level of incompetence. I am already so sick of seeing "where are the groups?" posts, "how do I change my name" posts, bug posts separated from the bug threads, complaint posts separated from the complaint threads, and endless polls about "how do you like the new site?" People are replying to classified ads, failing to post in pre-designated "sticky" threads, and otherwise violating forum rules left and right.

It's a little bit mind-boggling. But frankly, I'll take the good effects of the new site with the bad, and hope that the naivete and purposeful ignorance about posts dies down a bit with time. Which I'm sure it will.
